I was looking for long time for a every day carry pocket knife. It should serve me as I need and how I want it, not more, not less. I need a knife to cut a sausage or a cheese at the market with friends, at a picknick or in a train. I need a bottle opener and a corkscrew at the same places. The normal pocket tools with a good knife have a ridiculous small corkscrew. Sommelier knifes have a solid corkscrew but have a ridiculous small knife. The St. Vincent have both in size and quality satisfying me. Over all its a beautiful tool I'll be proud to carry. The ordering and delivery was smooth and fast. This was one of the lucky internet buy.

Your knives are of uniquely creative. They are made with the best materials and are finished flawlessly. And they can be personalized. A great option. I have several knives and are so perfect I hesitate to use them. So I got some for use and some for display only. My last compliment is the efficiency of ordering. The last knives I ordered arrived at my home within 7 days directly from France.
I recommend Goyon-Chazeau Cutlery without reservation.

Placed my order pretty late in the holiday. What I had requested wasn’t available it received email the next day with alternatives. Was able to find something I loved. Package arrived from France to the US within three days. Beautiful product, great customer service.

The knife is great. WE bought one while in France and it was so good I ordered three to give as Christmas gifts.

Perfect delivery en quick response to questions

31.08. I dont know what are the goals of this company, but surprisingly You managed to disapoint me on each single step from ordering to delivery. Lets see if You continue like this when returning the product. Please find a history with my comments below:

31.08. Ordered the product directly by the vendor, because this was the only supply that listed the product to be "in stock".
The state changed to "manufactoring in progress".
31.08 Directly after Order I got informed, that entire company is on summer holiday. So "manufactoring in progress" obviously was wrong.
02.09. I got informed that You are back from Summer holiday. Instead of shipping the product the state remained at "manufacturing in progress". What happened to the Knife "in Stock"?
10.09. The product was finally shipped. Unfortunately without any tracking information.
14.09. The product arrived with another dosappointment. To my surprise I was charged with Swiss added value Tax althpough the bill claimed that tax is already included. The reason is simple: You did not declare Tax properly. You have basically 2 options to ship to foreign countries.
a) Subtract french added value tax and charge the customer with the net price, also declare the net price without tax for the border control and let them charge the added value tax of the destination country from the customer.
b) Charge the customer the net price plus the added value tax and tax fees and take over the bureaucracy with the border control (large Distributors like Amazon do it that way).
Because of Your fault I had to pay added value tax twice.

But now to the biggest disappointment, the product itself. Honestly, I cant believe that this has passed a quality control. At a price tag I can expect a perfect polish, smoth action and a good edge. But what did I get? The edge is the edge of a butter knife. Who sharpened it? On the back there are tiny scratches out of the box, the sides are not really smoth, a fingernail hangs easily. The action of the blade is rough and to hard for such type of knife (at least for my taste). The corkscrew has a distance of 3 mm to the handle and its action feels like there is sandpaper. I think it should "snap" to the handle, but the action is so hard it stays on whatever angle You leave it. This is 200 Euro Garbage.

14.09. Informed the vendor with tesxt above and created an RMA slip.

17.09. RMA is still "En attente de confirmation", seems they are on vacation again or want to make it to the Guiness Book of records with most fails per one order.

Update:
Please note Your website shows a lot of content in french even when switched to english. This seems to be especially the case for dynamicly generated content like the the status of delevery etc. Possibly You notified me on Your website about Your vacation, but it was very likely in french and this way not understandable for me. Regarding the Tax: Maybe You are doing a correct calculation in the background, but I cant see that. What I see is what You are presenting me, and there You presented me a price as Tax included. This is still shown in my order history. So obviously this is wrong and should be Tax excluded. The PDF in contrast is in french and makes no statement regarding tax at all. If I switch the site to french the price is shown as TTC, also meaning all tax included.

2nd Update: 28th September I finally got a refund. So at least this worked. I add 1 star for this and change title from "avoid this company" to "Would not buy there again".

Great service! Chose to get an engraved knife and all the process was a very pleasant experience. Many thanks. The box housing the knife was opened at the customs and it got damaged somewhat so as it was a gift it was a real shame. However it is a beautiful item, made to perfection.
Nice hand written note too made the experience of buying from Goyon- Chazeau a wonderful one.
