Rare availability, great price and prompt delivery!

Was slightly concerned about placing an order due to the abundance of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. Grainger Games was able to provide a copy of Persona 5 on PS4 at a great price when many other retailers were out of stock or charging considerably more. Delivery was prompt and I am a happy bunny! Can't speak for others but Grainger Games provided a service that was more than ideal! 5/5

xmas presents without reciept

my grandson received a game for Christmas but already had that game for his ps4 as it was a xmas present we did not have a receipt the girl behind the counter at cramlington store only offered my grandson £1 for abrand new gameit will be the last time my family will use your store

Hi David Fox. I am sorry to hear this but unfortunately without a receipt we would have been unable to return the game for you and only have been offered the trade in price. We need to know that the game was actually bought from ourselves and the receipt number to be able to carry out a return.

Poor - not recommended

Poor.
My order is still showing processing a week after placing the order - and I only know that by logging into the website. I have received no email updates after the first 'thanks for your order'. This item was showing as in stock when I ordered.
There's no option to cancel the order online, no phone details shown on the website, and unable to get through on the phone anyway. I have emailed to cancel my order.
Grainger have already taken payment although they have not fulfilled the order, unlike many other online companies.
Very dissatisfied with the service
Edited - they did cancel the order promptly in reply to my email, and it's a shame to give a bad review to a relatively small company, but my other comments still apply so unfortunately I wouldn't be inclined to order from them again

I placed an order for my sons PS4 with a delivery time of 3 - 5 days. No phone number to call and after 2 email, still no reply. Very upset that it's less than 2 weeks until Xmas and I might have to tell my son! Thanks a lot Grainger Games!

Please allow 3-5 working days for the money to go back into your account depending on your bank. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Most of our stock for online orders is sent to us from our stores and in this case the stores had sold out of the bundles before the request was received to send our dispatch team the console bundle for your order. The website does not notify me of this and just keeps the order live until we get more stock in to fulfil the order. With this console bundle you have ordered we are not going to be getting anymore so I am unable to get this bundle for you at all now. I am really sorry once again and hope you can find an alternative bundle elsewhere, similar if not better than the bundle we have let you down with.

Order on 26/11/17 and game has still …

Order on 26/11/17 and game has still not arrived even though the quoted delivery time frame would be 3-5 days. The order status on their website advised that the order is still being processed.. Almost been 2 weeks and have not had any contact from Granger Games. Not happy with this service and will avoid using them again. I have now opened a case on paypal and have now got to chase this up in my valuable weekend time.. edit: 11/12 Paypal case closed as fully refunded, never received the game 2 weeks later and never got a repy from Granger Games which goes to show how crap they are at customer services, buyers beware! I would not recommend.

Hi Rudie Jnr. I am sorry that this order did not get fulfilled for you. When a claim is made on PayPal I get very limited options to resolve that usually leave our company out of pocket. As the item ordered had not been dispatched I cancelled and refunded this order for you. I am sorry I did not notify you of this. If you raised an issue with us on our website I would have been able to resolve this for you without cancelling and refunding. However this time of year it is currently taking me approximately 2-3 working days to reply to queries sent through our website as naturally we are getting approximately ten times more orders and in turn ten times more enquiries. I hope you get the item you ordered elsewhere or place a new order with us.

The most uncomfortable experience I have ever had with an online transaction

I made my order of a sony XZ premium on the 29th of November and have yet to receive it, the order status still reads order processing. Reading other reviews on this site I have lost all confidence in this company and it feels like I would have to be able to hack MI5 to be able to actually talk to a representative. I guess that their business plan didn't include customer loyalty.

Iphone 8 not arrived

I had ordered an IPhone 8 plus on the 21st November for my wife's Xmas present, Grainger Games have taken the money online, thus far I have received no IPhone or any correspondence from them. Delivery states 3- 5 days and if you contact them via email it states you should receive a reply within 24 hours, which I haven't. Luckily I paid via credit card, so I am going to have to try and get my money back via the credit card company as this company if faceless and inept at best, or dodgy and a sham at worst.

Hi Steven Lee. I replied to you yesterday regarding this iPhone. Unfortunately this phone you had ordered was sold in the only store that had this in stock. When we get online orders a request is then sent to the store for the item ordered. When this request was made to the store the store had literally just sold this item. This does happen from time to time but it is rare. I am really sorry that this has affected you as I can only imagine the position you are now in. Subsequently a full refund for the payment was made yesterday. I hope you can get a replacement in time for your wife's Christmas present as I am unable to source another 64GB iPhone 8+ Space Grey O2 as our company is completely of of stock of this item.

Hi John Harrison. I'm sorry about this order taking this long to be processed for you. We do estimate a 3-5 working day delivery. However I can see that your order was placed on the 27th of November so this has not been great from ourselves to be nowhere near this delivery time estimate.
The bundle you have ordered I am getting dispatched for you tomorrow though, so this will be with you on Friday, I hope this is not too late for the birthday you mentioned.
You had emailed the website yesterday and I have replied to you today, albeit after you have written your feedback on here. Please respect that at this time of year I get hundreds of enquiries a day so replying to them all in a timely manner isn't always possible, as I give every enquiry the time that they duly require.

Regardless I hope by the time the weekend comes you are in receipt of your order, are less frustrated with our company and I wish for you to have the confidence to place future orders with us.

I purchased a Xbox game for £35 during the last 7 days but found out it should have been PS4 game. I had a XMAS gift receipt. I went back to exchange the unopened Xmas gift and was told as I bought the game in error I only had 3 days to exchange. After an argument the advisor agreed I could exchange. The new game cost £5 less and I am now stuck with a credit note that expires in 6 months and must be spent in the Cramlington store.
Very poor attitude and silly company rules. I will not use the shop again and will give the credit note away.

I found grainger games (Durham to be absolutely disgusting I had gone to grainger games to purchase a phone, the first phone I had picked up had a fracture in the casing which had just been noticed as it was about to be sold
Abit discouraged I picked another (unlocked) later to find none of my sims worked I took it back for a trade in and was denied until taken to repair I tried explaining the problems to the management as a upset customer only to be told what I was saying is hypothetical (made up) my phone has come back and I've been told I'm at fault so I can pay the repairs
On a phone I already paid for as working or they take it away it's criminal and I feel completely scammed surely you must check your goods before selling them?

Ordered an Xbox Afterglow controller …

Ordered an Xbox Afterglow controller with the cheapest delivery because I was in no rush (or maybe free delivery, I forget) and it was in my hands about 4 days later. I was chuffed to bits.

Only went for 4 stars because 5 stars suggests you'd recommend to others, which due to the amount of 1 star reviews I'd be wary of recommending them to others, but they were on point when I used them :)

Stay Away From Grainger Games Longbenton!

I recently purchased Fallout 4 GOTY edition which cost £30. It came unsealed, even though I bought it new. I thought nothing of it at first, I went home and installed the game. When I tried to use the redeem code (for all DLC's) it said there had been an error so I tried again. It wouldn't work.
I waited a little bit then tried again, it said it had already been used but it wasn't on my PS4. So, I returned it within the 3 days return policy but they refused to switch the code or give me my money back. Basically meaning I wasted £30 on a game I already owned. They're still refusing to switch the code. I don't want to assume anything but, I feel like with the "new" game being unsealed, someone has tampered with the code, either putting an old code in the box or, switching the new code with an old code. Please, please stay away from Granger Games Longbenton. In fact, stay away from all of them.

Absolutely ridiculous

Usually when I order a game from Grainger Games I receive the item within a few days but on this occasion I am still waiting for my order after 3 - 5 days I contacted them and they told me that there may have been a problem from getting it from the store to the warehouse this is strange as other gaming companies ship it direct from the warehouse they said I would receive it on either saturday or at the very latest Monday still waiting for the item to arrive very poor delivery service and would not use again. Would sooner pay £3 or £4 more and get it from the local shop.

Ordered a game on the 2nd of October …

Ordered a game on the 2nd of October (Monday) and today is the 7th of October (Saturday) and my order still has not been processed or shipped. I cannot cancel my order because their is no way to do so in my Grainger Games account. Also, they have not responded to my e-mail which I sent them 3 days ago. Absolutely pathetic. A bad company with low standards who does not care about customer satisfaction. This is my first and last order with Grainger Games as they clearly do not care about acquiring and keeping customers.

If my order is not shipped by next week, I'll be going to my bank to file a chargeback against Grainger Games.

Avoid this company, don't make my mistake.

My went friend back to university. We'd enjoyed a summer of gaming, but she couldn't take the PS4 with her. I own both an Xbox and a PS4, so as a surprise, I thought I'd order an Xbox One to be delivered to her while she's at university. I found a decent price on Grainger Games website and placed my order, I paid extra for next day delivery so she could have it as soon as possible (or so I could play with her as soon as possible). Five days has passed, three emails sent, no Xbox, no responses. I'm more than prepared to go through a court action to get my money back (over £200 in what I purchased), But that should not have ever been an issue for a company such as this. I will honestly advise others, avoid this company completely. Pay a little more for a much better business to suit your needs and deliver as expected.

*Update*
Recieved delivery this morning, but not all of it. I had recieved an email yesterday informing me that the console I had ordered had been shipped, along with the 12 month Xbox Live subscription I'd also purchased. I had also bought a game to go with the console, something my friend and I could play together from the start of her new Xbox adventures. The game however, which was in stock, had not been shipped. There was a half-hearted apology for the delay in processing my order, and they have very kindly decided to refund the charge for next day delivery. Here is where it gets laughable, the Xbox Gold card didn't work. It appears that in their haste to send my order out, no one thought to activate the card. Also, not in the description of the product I ordered, the console in question is a limited edition Forza Motorsport Xbox. So now my friend has a card with 25 meaningless digits, and a console that goes 'Vrooom' when it's powered up.

TL;DR Didn't deliver order on time. Didn't deliver complete order when they finally did. Subscription code ordered didn't work.

preorder games from here all the time

preorder games from here all the time, i recently just preordered xbox one x project scorpio edition, and the great thing about it is you can pay as much or as little as you want, i usually pay so much of it off then when its released pay the last £20 or so. works really well this way as i dont have to put the money aside. staff are always very helpful and chatty and thats what makes the service stand out

I placed an order 2 weeks ago for a PS4 videogame, the order is still showing "processing" as status.
I've sent more than 3 emails to them using their horrible contact form. No reply at all!
I'm disgusted by this company, no customer service. Avoid them.
I've raised a claim on Paypal, trying to get my money back.
