Warranty not worth a dot !

Bought an Iphone 6S in April this year and the battery is failing. Used to get about 6 hours from a full charge even on Aeroplane mode but it's continually got worse. May get 2 hours now at best. It has a 2 year warranty however as there is a crack in the corner of the screen their policy is that the warranty isn't valid. They can send it away to get it fixed nut they'd have to charge me. I would rather pay someone else to fix it. I've purchased 2 Xbox and 3 Playstation and numerous games from Grainger over the years thinking they needed by business more than their competitor GAME. I won't be going back for anything else that's for sure. GAME has any future business from me from now on

Was worried after seeing reviews but I …

Was worried after seeing reviews but I chanced it and was pretty happy with the service, ordered a Nintendo 3DS and it seems to work fine (Is in good condition as well). Delivery was on time so I can't complain really. I did contact the customer service for details and it took a while for them to reply but I believe they have one guy called Jon who deals with enquiries. Maybe the company should invest in more online customer service agents.

Overall decent.

BEWARE THEY WILL SWAP YOUR WORKING ITEMS FOR BROKEN ONES!!!!

Stay clear of Grainger games in MetroCentre. The guy with a tattoo on his arm and blonde charger kid will swap out your working PlayStation for a broken one and say it's not working. Never trade your working consoles as they will say they are "TESTING" it and then swap it under the table and give you back a broken one!!!!! THEY WILL OFTEN DO THAT TO CONTROL PADS! Try and buy a new game and you'll get a preowned one!!!! You'll know because it's not sealed. Get rid of the charver that works in the MetroCentre with a Tattoo he's the one nicking all the games and swapping the boxes he doesn't even know the difference between Fat and slim PlayStations. Grainger games is where they will swap out your working items for Broken faulty one under the table Nd say they are "TESTING" it. It's a shame this site I can't ZERO rate them....Damn that guys that works in the MetriCentre with tattoos! He stole my PlayStation.

Liverpool store staff are a joke

Liverpool store staff are a joke. Very rude. The staff member advised me that 2 phones in a row were capable of accepting nano sims. Neither could. He got irritated at me because I didn't want to go get a converter nano to micro sim conversion. I looked for another phone and he followed me around the store like a vulture trying to rush me into buying a phone then when I chose one he went into the back in a strop like a child and then talked about how irritated he was with me to other staff. Then as I was leaving I heard him again speaking to the manager about me. What a disgrace. I have worked in retail for over 10 years and his conduct in some of the places I have worked at would be unacceptable. AVOID THE LIVERPOOL STORE.

avoid Altrincham Grainger games …

avoid Altrincham Grainger games absolutetly greedy shop, bad attitude to the customers and unbelievably rude and terrible management, I purchased a brand new ps4 controller for my cozen when turns out his brothers already bought him one, I thought no problem as ive kept my reciept and controller is still in original packaging, Took it to the woman in grainger games and she point blank refused me a refund despite the fact its 1 day old ive got my reciept and product is in original packaging. Her only explanation was that the store policy will not return it because it isnt faulty and if I was unsure of there policy I shud of asked before purchasing it, also despite the fact that its a day old and still in original box with the reciept, spoke to the customer service on the phone after the manager eventualy rang them after several times of me politelyasking her to .They eventually said they will meet me half way not refund me the full £45 pounds but £38, I didnt have much of a choice as it was either this or nothing however this in my opinion isnt meeting the customer half way and it is in no means looking out for the customer. On top of all this the most fustrating part was the female manager sam who worked in there, her attitude stunk and she was increadibly rude laughing in my face and telling me that if I dont like it shop somewhere else. I definitely will shop somewhere else now as I new this shop was greedy, especially when I saw the mark up on the games when they buy and sell them on. However I didnt realise it was this greedy, absolute disgrace!

Both used games will not install

Ordered 2 used Xbox one games from Grainger games, having bought used games before from CEX and musicmagpie despite the reviews I thought everything would be fine.

OH HOW WRONG I WAS.

Both games while they may of looked OK in appearance (no obvious big scratches) neither of them got as far as 10% on the installation, giving me the error "your disc is damaged or dirty"

I've contacted GG to get a replacement or refund, but still heard nothing back. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. - It doesn't matter how good the price is if it doesn't work!!!

Flithy cartridge, box not far behind.

Bought a 3DS game online, it came quickly enough but the problem is that this game is FLITHY like it's got brown sludge on it... god know what is it. Really not acceptable to send you need to clean it first at least. First time ordering from grainger, probably the last.

Order cancelled for no reason, no response from company as to why

Spotted a Wii U deal on HUKD, went ahead and ordered it, along with c. £100 of used games. Then in anticipation, ordered a couple of extra controllers from Amazon as they were cheaper. Grainger Games then refunded my money with no explanation, and didn't respond to polite emails asking what had gone wrong. The console is still showing as in stock now. Had to return additional controllers to Amazon too.

Very, very poor show. I won't be using them again for any reason.

A company to avoid

Like many of the people on here I ordered a new game as a gift, and received an opened (Possibly) new game with a case smashed to bits. A couple of weeks later I got a refund (too late for the birthday) and not even an apology (just a snotty look at our conditions before buying comment). Looking at the complaints on here I got of lightly.
PS I was amused how Grainger have stop replying to (or caring about ) comments since October last year

Preordered a Game from there website …terrible

Preordered a Game from there website for which they took the money straight away weeks later they decide the price they had on the website wasn't correct so refunded my order with just a generic sorry email. As far as Im aware once I pay for an item it belongs to me they took my money so the game is mine if they made a mistake that's there problem not mine if I bought from store they wouldn't come round to my house to take MY game back poor company and poor customer service would never use again hope you use they money you made from keeping mine (and presumably other customers money) in your bank for weeks to employ someone to look after your website

Birthday present never arrived.

Ordered persona 5 steel book edition for a birthday present. The company told me it was dispatched, item never arrived and only way of contacting them is through their email address, which takes far too long to resolve anything. Item is also sold out everywhere now.

Went into the Stockton Grainger Games …

Went into the Stockton Grainger Games today. Traded my games in as I do, this time I got a fair price. The correct price that I counted up on the website. 1 game couldn't get taken in, but this was understandable as it was quite scratched. Some that I took in the previous day, got taken in because the Newbie wasn't working. Who wouldn't take some of my games in due to light surface marks. He also tried to scam me. But today I traded in with someone who works there regularly who is very nice & treats every customer with respect.

Then I got sold a PS2 today. Like new condition, and it works just like new. Very pleased with customer support today, just don't let the newbie rip off customers. Thank you very much.

Missing games from order told me i was wrong and was in parcel

Ordered 14 games only 12 sent in parcel very poor customer service only reachable by long wait emails. Told i was wrong as they were checked before sending after several emails i had to prove my order was short by showing the weight of the full order would have weighed more if right. Such a waste of my time and a case of were right/youre wrong end of story. Most of order of NEW games are sent unsealed same as cheaper used option (lots of same complaints online) Appauling customer service with no help available in store and no phone no. Will not be using again plenty of better places to buy NEW items and actually receive as ordered.

Uncomplete order and NO correspondence

I pre ordered a game that was meant to come with DLC codes for 2 extra packs. They were not included. Five emails later they still have not replied or even acknoledged the email or a problem. To say they are one on the most unprofessional companies I have dealt with would be an understatment.
