The website is a total scam, the item description says BRAND NEW, and when i opened out the JOSEPH JOSEPH chopping board i bought, it is cracked into many pieces. Totally unusable, and it shows signs of mould and old chopping signs. The item has clearly been used, and is in mouldy condition. Brought it home and threw into the bin immediately, $50 scam.

Pretty streamlined auction and it was my first time ever and I won! The staff were helpful when I went to pick up my item.
I will say, payment cannot be split and only made in one form which I was hoping otherwise but it was all sorted none the less.

Grays have forgotten how important the customer is.
Eg... sending us an email with a no reply email address so we cant write back!
Selling 'seconds' that they know dont work and not letting us know any history of the goods and of course, no refunds.
A second is a scratched, slightly soiled, not new product....which works. But not at grays.. their 2nds are electronics that don't actually function but still look like they should!
Sending me a survey as they want to improve... but then finding the survey stopped me completing it!
Just stop being massive and arrogant and start treating your customers well again. Especially when you are charging such high buyers premiums.
P.s. I hate writing a negative review for a business but Grays needs to smarten up their act.

I purchased a vehicle over 2 weeks ago. The day after I bought I ran a vehicle check and despite advertised as being sold unregistered without plates, it was still registered. I called and checked and they said that it was sold unregistered and the previous owner had requested the plates back and vehicle to be sold with no rego, and in fact it would be illegal and breach of contract to sell it registered.
Turns out they haven't unregistered the vehicle (so broken the law and breached the sale contract) and I only found out today when I try and get a blue slip and register the vehicle, and am unable to because the the car is still registered to another person.
Their staff member than on speaker phone tries to convince the supervisor at Services NSW (on speaker) to break the rules and cancel the registration for me, even though I'm not the registered owner, to fix their failure to meet their legal obligations.
I bought from what I thought was a reputable auction house, and now feel like I'm dealing with Arthur Daley.
I now have a vehicle I can't register because of their incompetence.

Repeated deliver stuff ups whereby they truncate the registered delivery address resulting in return to sender or diversion to a post office. Hopeless customer service. They just fob you off by “creating a ticket” or closing the chat. Never admit error or fix their processes. Don’t bother is my advice

I recently bought a VW beetle from grays in Melbourne what a great little car went through rego no problems I drove it from Melbourne to goulburn not a problem .I have been dealing with grays for some years always been happy with them

My experience was good the drive to Tenterfield was great and all my Lot was in all marked and accessible in one Place, the Person that took me to my lot was extremely helpful as he cleared a path for me to get my trolly out after loading my items on it which he did not have to and I do appreciate what he done for me it was extremely helpful So Thank You For doing that for me I would also like to Thank Graysonline for notifying after the Auction had finished that I had won that lot in the Auction I can't think of anything that I would change as I feel everything worked very well so I would like to thank the GraysOnline team for all there help and support.

Unhappy with your purchase, from my experience if you have paid with a Bank Visa card you are then entitled to dispute the payment by means of a Bank Chargeback, if successful this is a way of getting your payment reversed & back into your Account balance, the same applies to PayPal when linked to a Visa credit card.

Purchased the wine for two dollars cheaper than retail
The wine was delivered one bottle short sighting damage, the other five bottles had glass shards and red wine covered all over them. The labels were equally damaged.
Grays were made aware of this damage by Australia Post
Crazy offered to refund me $14.67 which was the price of a bottle of wine
Then Grays want me to download Adobe fill out forms and more
Definitely not worth saving two dollars
And that’s winning the auction so clearly could’ve spent well over that saving
