Wonderful work performed by Jessica on my resume. Transformed it into a great narrative that I can share with others.

To begin with, the process wasn't fast, and I wasn't provided a resume within a week. Also, after uploading my resume to a job board, they provided feedback on the quality of my resume- and it didn't score well for getting through ATS's. I sent this information to my resume writer, and she never responded.

Almost 3 months later and 156 applications, I only had 2 interviews. I've extensive corporate sales experience, have been awarded Vendor of the Year awards from Target and have had success everywhere I've been. Further networking no doubt led to me other people trying to sell their resume services. Two other services ran my resume through their systems to grade it for getting through an ATS- and the scores were below 60 (out of a 100).

I sent a LinkedIn message to Jessica Hernandez and she said she'd have someone get back to me. Kelly did reach out and asked for more details. I provided her with EVERYTHING! The log with all positions I had applied to, the feedback from others regarding my resume and more. Her response was a letter saying it's a tough time, and then went on to essentially regurgitate all of their marketing materials and the same stuff Jessica posts all the time. Kelly seemed to completely ignore what I told her - which included doing almost all of what their service had recommended.

There are definitely other services which can do better, and charge you much less. Stay away from this one.

From our initial conversation, she was pleasant to work with, made me feel at ease, provided ample time & space for me to chat through my experience, listened attentively, and asked effective probing questions to truly understand who I was as a professional and my value proposition. When I received my initial drafts, I was utterly impressed with how Kristin articulated my experience in such an impactful way that was true to me and my brand! The review process was efficient and when I had concerns, Kristin quickly offered to hop on a call to brainstorm. I couldn’t be more pleased with my new, rebranded documents & can’t wait to put them to use. Highly recommend!

"Great Resumes Fast" was unwilling to discuss my requirements for my executive resume update. In any business, to provide exceptional services, especially those unique to the individual you are writing about, there needs to be a willingness to understand your client's requirements and uniqueness. Jessica (owner/president), Kelly (customer service manager), and the assigned writer, who was a contractor, had no interest in having that conversation concerning what I wanted to see in the update to the resume they created for me back in 2017 which cost over $1,300. For the update, they wanted $995. They seemed only concerned about getting you to sign up for a package and pay. After I paid and tried to seek clarification, raised my concern about the lack of collaboration or attention to what I was looking to get out of the service, and requested a call, Jessica declined to have a call to discuss my project and instead refunded my $995. What I experienced as a client contradicts how Jessica presents herself and her business on social media. I thought she would have the courtesy to discuss my project. Very disheartening. The good news is that many excellent executive writing services exist that genuinely care about their clients. AI services are more effective and do a better job listening to my specific, unique requirements than "Great Resumes Fast," they produce a more effective deliverable and outcome for much less money (some are free). Unfortunately, "Great Resumes Fast" is not one of them, especially if you want a great, unique, standout resume.

Recently I engaged this company for a LinkedIn profile and Resume refresh. Service cost was ~$1k. It started off generally ok with an intro to an experienced writer, and me providing an overview of my experiences. I had a previous resume from a different service years ago.

The first draft came later than promised, and when it arrived it the change from my original resume was probably 10% different. There were some interesting wording changes, but also inaccuracies from what we had talked about. The LI profile draft was also ~70% copy from the resume (and those two should be different).

I provided feedback and comments on the documents. The writer did not prefer a live discussion. I made clear that I would ultimately accept suggestions, but did want to understand the strategy and reason behind changes (or non-changes).

A day later I received a notice, that they decided to not continue the engagement and promised a refund. I had not asked for it, and only had questions on the docs.

The two people I did speak with over this rather short event, honestly were nice. Though I did get the sense they were time-strapped. Perhaps too much work on their plate.

I suppose asking questions made me too much of a hassle, but I would have expected that level of engagement for a $1k package.

I shared my new resumes with two mentors and they were so impressed! Excited with my two new resumes, LinkedIn and cover letters...Kristin listened to me and really developed resumes that fit my needs! I would recommend this group and will come back again when I need a refresh!

They don't just take your information from a questionnaire, talk to you for a few minutes and then create your documents. My experience started off with an initial 25-minute strategy session with Kelly, where she listened to what my needs were and she explained the process and the next steps. Next came a 90-minute conversation with Bethany. During this time, we discussed my current career, my accomplishments, and my career goals. It was a real conversation and I felt Bethany was not only using the time to get the information she needed, but also used it to get a feel of who I am. I have had documents prepared for me by other companies and the results never felt like me. Bethany was so thorough and patient with my questions. She was also very motivating. I could go on but I will stop here. I highly recommend Great Resumes Fast, not only for the quality of the finished products (cover letter, resume, and LinkedIn profile) but also for the exceptional amount of care shown and excellent customer service.
