In December 2024, Greener Energy installed a solar panel system and solar batteries at my property. Recently, I decided to add another battery, and had a enlightening chat with Tony, a Technical Manager at Greener Energy. He explained why buying additional solar batteries online or from unaccredited companies at seemingly low prices can be tempting, but also risky. Tony emphasized the importance of choosing reputable companies like Greener Energy, which offer safeguards against system failures, issues, or closure of the business, with their accreditations and insurance policies. While I'm cautious when dealing with businesses, I appreciate receiving valuable insights from knowledgeable individuals like Tony, as they help me make informed decisions. Ultimately, the choice is yours, but having the backup of a reputable company and insurances go a long way to giving peace of mind.

I want to clarify that I'm just a customer with no financial or other interests in Greener Energy. I simply appreciate Tony's courteous explanations of things I missed while researching.

Brilliant, from start to finish!

We recently got 12 solar panels and a battery on our home in Ayrshire. Munro came round for the consultation after we received online bespoke plans for what we were thinking. He helped walk through all of our options, including the funding options available. The install day went great, and the scaffolding, roof, and electrician teams were quick, clean and tidy. The install only took one day which was very speedy!

The aftercare was great, and everyone we spoke to helped with other questions we had as the paperwork after completion came through. We are now set up on all the right tariffs to benefit from our panels, and feed in excess energy to the grid.

Finally, Laura phoned to check over the whole process, and we were glad to share our very positive experience. We would definitely recommend!

From our first interaction with Greener energy, until 2 years later, the staff have always been extremely helpful, their customer service is brilliant - loads of pro active calls.
We initially had our solar panels installed 2 years ago with 5 kw battery, installation went smoothly and the engineer who came to hook it all up was really helpful and was able to answer all our questions. Fast forward 2 years and we realised we were giving a lot of electricity back to the grid so we decided to purchase another 5 kw battery. This is a decision we have not regretted,particularly with the fantastic weather we’ve been having. Highly recommend Greener Energy,

The experiance was completely seamless and hassle free from start to finish.
All appointments and timings were met with various representatives having input at different stages.
The survey was accurate, the installation clean and tidy conducted by two very experianced and efficiant individuals.
Throughout the process I had a number of dealings with Debbie who was ever helpful in particular during any online activity which I would have had problems with. She concluded her assistance by taking me through the grant payment, explaining everything in a manner which was courteous and understandable.

The system I have had installed is perfectly fit for purpose. It allows a pleasant warm property with hot water set to a tempreture of choice.

It was money well spent. A thank you to Debbie and everyone involved.

Munro went through the quote, talked to us about finding options & how to apply etc. We've had our energy performance survey, now waiting for technical survey and installation. At each stage, Greener Energy have called to check we were happy. Laura called just this morning. Hoping everything continues just like this.

So far all the people at Greener Energy Group that I have had contact with in person or on the 'phone have been very helpful and seem to know what they are talking about which is reassuring, including Laura, Chloe, Fiona, Debbie and Munro the sales person.

I called to ask for a price for solar panels, within a few days James Conner came to my house and explained everything to me. He was very transparent and honest which is why I closed the deal.

Laura called me after a recent survey. She was very polite and professional.

After contacting the group, James came and did a survey for a solar panal and battery system.
James was very friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions I had. We recieved the quatation next day, with all parts and specification listed for the fit.
The quotation was very competative, but we decided to go with a company closer to our location.
Laura followed up after the quotation, asking if there was any further questions of help we needed.
My choice on company to use was purely based on using a local company.

We recently had an air source heat pump installed by Greener Energy Group, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, our energy surveyor was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, guiding us through the process and answering all our questions with patience and expertise.

After the sale, the communication with the office staff was seamless. They were always prompt in responding to our inquiries and kept us informed every step of the way. It was reassuring to know that we could rely on them for any support we needed. They even sent up an engineer post installation to sort out what turned out to be a simple set up issue.

The installation itself went smoothly, thanks to the professionalism and efficiency of the installers. They were courteous, respectful of our home, and ensured everything was set up perfectly. We were impressed with their attention to detail and the care they took in their work.

I had my home surveyed for Solar panels today. Stewart Campbell did the survey and was friendly and professional. There was no hard sell, and the info was helpful and not embellished. Seems like a high quality product, although this is of course reflected in the price. It may take too long to recoup my outlay than is practical for me, but impressed with the service on offer, with no element of haggling.

All the staff were pleasant and friendly especially Laura from the office and Steven who carried out the survey.
The report was concise but I thought pricing was too high.

The staff at this company appear to be uniformly polite and respectful. Stuart came out to our home, explained everything in detail & gave us plenty of time for questions. The was no element of pressure on us to make any decisions. Laura followed up the visit by phone, & was again helpful and considerate, & constructive in everything she said.

I decided to get solar panels and the first company were so negative and told me i couldn't get solar panels. When i went into my hive i read up on scottish gas solar panels and got a phone call from greener energy they made an appointment everything was explained price sorted and a week later my solar panels are in, the workmen were so efficient, polite hard working good knowledge of the system 👏👏👏🥇

We live on a Scottish island and usually it’s very difficult to get any building work done, but Greener Energy came up trumps and produced an on site survey and price within a couple of days of our enquiry and the works to supply and fit solar panels and batteries were completed in the same month.

Just had solar panels installed. I have to say that the guys who worked at the house were fantastic. Polite, cheer, hard working and answered any questions we had. 8 didn't get the names of the first two guys but the elections Jack and Cameron were great. The only downside to the whole install is the office staff, we have to keep phoning them to chase things up.
