I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience on Groupon. In my personal experience, it feels like they do not properly verify some of the businesses offering deals on their platform. As a tourist, this is dangerous — the company I booked through turned out to be completely unreliable, and I ended up getting scammed.

What makes it worse is that Groupon still lists these businesses without transparent checks or warnings. It made the platform feel unfiltered and unsafe for travellers who trust that deals advertised are legitimate.

Based on my experience, I do not feel that Groupon can be trusted. I strongly advise others — especially tourists — to avoid using the platform to prevent similar issues. I hope Groupon takes responsibility and improves their verification process, because right now, it does not feel secure or dependable.

The delivery was in 29th Nov and today is 1 Dec 2025, the cake still not been delivered. Customer service is the worst never pickup the phone.

It’s a disaster running this business please close down.

I have bought a lifetime access Microsoft Office which somehow expired after 1 month.

The customer service is EXTREMELY RUDE via email (Jack Harris - not sure if this is his real name) and the company is unresponsive.

Nilo was very helpful. He guided the group through various activities, E.g, Camel riding, Dune bashing etc. He was very patient with the group. Definitely recommend.

Never use this app! I had done a booking through groupon, with full payment, on website of UrbanMop Cleaning & Home Maintenance Services Reviews. The service provider did not turn up and also stopped responding to calls/ messages. I raised the issue with GroupOn to which there was no solution/ no refund/ no response from Group on.

Great platform for genuine discounts would recommend this to everyone. Just they more realistic deals should be added as some vendors refuse to honor the coupon very rare but does happen.

The deals are very good. I have mainly used these for spa and parlor services and I have got some excellent deals at premium places.
