Love them!

I’ve been getting Grubby meals for several years now and the range is still exciting and varied. The packs are very reliable, there are never any missing or substituted ingredients and they are quick and easy but nutritious meals. Portion sizes are great too! I often have a third portion which I freeze for those days when I can’t be bothered to cook from scratch . Being vegan is not essential to me but I know I can trust Grubby to provide wholesome, meat free meals at a great price

Great recipes. Terrible delivery and dropping customer service standards.

I'll start by stating we've used Grubby for over a year, having tried a few different meal services, and their recipes and ingredients are mostly great, hence the 2 stars, our recent experience warrants a 1/5.

However, they've recently changed delivery partners to Hived and we have had multiple deliveries either delayed or completely cancelled, with no prior warning, often requiring us to chase Grubby and ask where our delivery is. Before changing delivery partners we had no issues in over a year, since Hived we've had issues most months.

Appreciate this is not necessarily Grubby's fault but having raised this issue with Grubby they told us Hived performed well in London - this hasn't translated to our city - this is their business decision. And we have to chase Grubby to ask where our delivery is when it doesn't arrive. This week they replied in the evening of the delivery day, stating it would be 1 day delayed, but we should check on the condition of the produce and cold goods(?). Only be told the following afternoon that they were disposing of the whole delivery.

Not only is this a complete waste of food, it's a waste of our time as a customer. We use Grubby, which is a luxury service (to have food/recipes delivered to your door), as we have a young family and busy work schedules. And it's been put on us as the customer to resolve the issue by contacting Grubby for a refund on top arranging alternative food at the last minute, in this case, on two consecutive days we were promised a delivery and the PM of that day find out it's not arriving.

You're losing customers here Grubby...

Proactive customer service would’ve been appreciated!

I do like Grubby meals, I think they’re a lot better than another plant-based provider, but unfortunately not this time. The meals I ordered never arrived because the courier they used - Hived - initially messaged to say the order was delayed and then, the following day, that it was cancelled altogether. This no doubt was due to adverse weather conditions but it would have been helpful for Grubby themselves to have contacted me to let me know, and perhaps apologise, instead of waiting for me to contact them? I’ve been refunded but some initial communication and proactive customer service would have been appreciated.

I'm absolutely in love with grubby

I'm absolutely in love with grubby. I'm not a vegan at all, I love meat. But these meals are just so tasty and healthy I keep going back to them. They really know how to do flavour, and im delighted to be eating healthier, trying new things and I've lost weight as well as its much lower calorie than our usual meaty dinners. I think the full price boxes will be too expensive to keep on, but I'm very much enjoying the free trail ones that are a bit cheaper and have told all my friends about it.

Very tasty recipies & lots of choice

Loved the choice, have tried new foods & all recipes have been really easy & delicious. Don't like spicy, so just left those bits out & was still very tasty.

Dislikes were that a few items have turned up past their best or packaging damaged/split within the bags.

The food is fantastic. Tasty, balanced and easy to prepare.

Messed up delivery

Edit : They also sorted it out very quickly and hence I would like to really acknowledge and appreciate the fac.
I do really enjoy my Grubby meals, they are very tasty and does not take long to cook. They have a wide selection to choose from every week. I have recommended them to lot of people.

I was really enjoying my grubby meals, until guess what they messed up my meal delivery on the Christmas week without any communication. Now here I am on 23rd night without any food for Christmas and Boxing day.
Distressed, disappointed and very very stressed as I am also working tomorrow.

Have fallen back in love with cooking

Simple to follow recipes, quality ingredients and conveniently delivered to the door. Great starter discounts offered too.

We are a vegan and omni household, I wont cook meat based meals and was struggling to get my teens to eat plant based, but they are enjoying the tasty options and trying their hand at cooking.

I love the convenience of not having to write a shopping list, go shopping, and constantly thinks of meal variations.

I have no complaints with the service.
