Have lived in the area for a number of years and couldn’t believe how I’ve managed to miss this shop being there!
I went to buy a strap and a lead, but the seemingly endless collection of guitars of all descriptions including vintage and collectible, across two floors and a shop which looks tiny from the outside but is a TARDIS on the inside, was too irresistible to not stop and have a look around. Friendly and helpful staff. The building itself is of historic interest too with origins dating back to the 1400s. Fascinating place in so many ways. I will be back!

I highly recommend Guitar Village, they have a great range of products and outstanding customer service. They happily sent me additional product photos, provided advice and price matched the guitar I had my eye on. Being able to message a person rather than a bot makes such a difference too.

Absolutely first class service
Absolutely first class service from GV. Zero issues from making the purchase online, through the post-purchase call from Richard and to delivery the next working day and a pleasant after-sale chat. My beautiful new guitar was given a fantastic setup and packaged with care.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GV to anyone looking to purchase a guitar, especially if you're splashing out on a higher-end instrument. GV have proven themselves to be a class act all around.
