What more could you ask for. So many manufacturers and price points, All the guys are players and extremely knowledgeable. I go in there even when I'm not buying just for a chat and a look around especially at the Martin, Gibson and Atkin models.They need a coffee shop. Well done all, amazing shop.

I really appreciated listening to one of thier staff playing the guitar I was interested in, for me to listen to it over the phone and getting the photos of the actual guitar before purchasing it online. It was the latter that persuaded me to buy from them rather than other places that had the same guitar few pounds cheaper. Delivery was late which was not their fault. Guitar is amazing. Enjoyable buying experience just a shame about the delayed delivery.

This is the best guitar shop in the uk as far as I’m concerned. I have shopped here many times over the years. Recently I bought a guitar and an amp, their service is great and most importantly if you have an issue their after service is absolutely excellent. Great staff and buying experience.

Visited Guitar Village with my son on his birthday, we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He had been desiring a Gibson Les Paul Junior for quite some time, and I was looking at "full fat" Les Paul Standards. The sales guys let us look at and play several, there was absolutely no pressure, we were allowed to take our time and they didn't stand over us which was a breath of fresh air. Courteous and friendly service throughout. We were there 3 hours and left having purchased a Les Paul Junior and a nice little Cort practice amp. The LPJ is set up very well and is an awesome little guitar with monster tone, amazing considering how brutally basic it is. They even threw in a free set of strings. I can highly recommend this business based on our experience which was thoroughly pleasurable start to finish.

I had some questions about a guitar on their website. After a friendly helpful call, all my questions were answered and I was confident this was the guitar for me.

It was marked Ex-Demo, but you'd never know it. It looked immaculate when it arrived. GV are honest about any tiny (and I mean TINY) imperfections on a guitar that isn't brand new.

For instruments over a certain price, they put photos of the actual guitar online. So you know exactly what you're getting.

There's also a multistage checklist that goes in with the guitar. Everything is checked on the instrument before shipping. It takes the worry out of buying guitars online.
