THIS IS THE WORST ICE CREAM EVER.IT WAS GOOD AT ONE TIME.I EAT THE ROCKY ROAD THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES I HAVE HAD IT THERE IS NO MARSHMELLOWS WHAT SO EVER AND VERY LITTLE ALMONDA.WHAT THE HELL CONSUMER BEWARE YOU ARE NOT GETTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR.ITS ALL CHOCLATE WITH NOTHING IN IT AND YOU PAY MORE.BUYER BEWARE FIND A BETTER ICE CREAM BECAUSE THIS PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE.

I’ve been working for HD as a Shop Manager starting up the shops in Monte-Carlo & Gothenburg, been running the shops in St Tropez & Parly 2 in Paris. I just love the flavors & the rich texture. Honestly I also choose B&J when I want a more crazy flavor, love them too!
But to read the very negative comments given to the HD i/c is non other than net gohst creatures who are unhappy with their lives, & who cannot distinguish quality from mainstream i/c.

I HAVE READ THE REVIEWS AND IM CONFUSED AS TO WHY PEOPLE ARE SAYING NEGATIVE THINGS.
MY FAVORITE IS SALTED CARAMEL CONE AND IT HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST ICE CREAM I HAVE EVER EATEN.
FULL OF CHUNKS IN EVERY BITE AND FLAVOR AND TEXTURE IS AMAZING.
MAYBE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ARE PEOPLE WITH NO PALLET OR HAVE LOST THE SENCE OF TASTE.

Maybe less sugar and semi skimmed now. Making things not taste so creamy and sweet.
Everything is bland and it's not cheap either .

They've clearly changed the ingredients in their ice cream. It's gone from rich and creamy to watery and bland! After buying for many years after the last batch not a chance will I ever buy it again. Using cheap ingredients loses customers.

I bought the Rum & Raisin, for the first time. I have been looking forward to trying it for ages. How very disappointing it was. There was no rum taste whatsoever. It was just plain ice cream, with a few raisins. I certainly will not be buying it again. Not for the price you pay.

Roughly 2.5 years ago, I started noticing a change in the praline and cream flavor. The nuts aren't sugar-coated, and the caramel content is minimal. The creamy signature taste is no longer present. It appears they've introduced a fat-free version. I'm truly missing the original flavor. I just made a purchase at the King of Prussia mall and I'm not happy with the taste. It's like a knock off version.

Häagen-Dazs used to have delicious ice creams but 2025's Strawberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu are a huge disappointment. The taste is bland and the cake pieces taste like sweetened cardboard.

I've purchased this product for several years rum raisin raisins were always plump infused with rum wonderful flavor lately they are dried chewy no rum infused at all I'm so tired of companies compromising I will never buy this product ever again

Häagen-Dazs is my favorite ice cream I've been eating ever since I was a little girl. They have gone through a lot of changes by decreasing the size etc but not in decreasing the price. Nevertheless I purchased Swiss vanilla from Fry's. I can't find the receipt! I purchased when it's on sale and I have two deep freezers. I went to eat the ice cream on August 29th 2025 in the evening time and I was so disappointed the seal was broken. I attempted to contact Häagen-Dazs through their fake emails / phone numbers that doesn't work and got no response. All the phone numbers you can find online are no longer operable. As we all know good customer service ceased to exist long ago. I just purchased more ice cream at the Fry's five to be exact Sept 4th and had to open each one to make sure they all had a seal on it. That's absolutely crazy.

Terrible customer service, no response to a few quality complaints. Not buying from them anymore. Quality of products dropped too but prices increased. Very disappointing.

I tried Häagen-Dazs for the first time, just got the Salted Caramel flavour, and it was honestly one of the worst ice creams I’ve ever had. It tasted overwhelmingly sweet as if I was just eating a bowl of sugar. There was no balance of flavour, no richness, just a cloying, sickly sweetness that made it impossible to enjoy.

I expected a creamy, smooth ice cream with a hint of caramel and a touch of salt, but instead, it felt more like eating a spoonful of syrupy sugar paste. Definitely not worth the hype or the price. L

Shrinkflation - Disgusting, trying to fool customers by shrinking the size of your tubs but increase price.
You’ve just lost 6 customers as me and my adult children will never buy from you again.

Seems to always be on offer at the co-op. But the offer is deceiving. No matter which ice cream I get it has lumps of choclate or some pish in it. Utterly revolting, I am trying to cure a hangover not join the majority of their customers which are borderline bed bound or requiring a haulage company to get them back to the parlour.

I have been the biggest fan of your ice cream for YEARS!!! Then i recently bought 2 jars (different flavours- caramel biscuit cream and strawberry cream both of which i couldn't get enough of in the past)- it was horrible!!! The caramel biscuit cream had a cheap margarine aftertaste instead of truly blissful caramel biscuit. The strawberry cream was icy and had an aftertaste as well as if i ate some food colouring.
Where is the distinct haagen dazs flavour?!! There was NO better ice cream than Haagen Dazs in the whole world.
What you are doing is a CRIME!!!!!!!!
BRING THE ORIGINAL RECIPES BACK!!!!!!

There is enough of average ice cream in the world already. If you wanted to rebrand you should have done just that without ruining the taste.

Good bye to once my favorite icecream. It was definetly best icecream on the market. Full Richard taste con real cream and nuts. Last few cups I bought have less calories but taste is like a cheapest product on the market. As I was really steady customer for more then 30 years I didn't make my mind fast. It took me few months but today is surely my last cup I bought from them.
