A course that genuinely delivers — and people who truly care
I'm currently completing a dual Certificate IV in Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs at Hader Institute, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience.
Kim Crescencio, Bernadette Lee, and Robyn Herbig deserve a special mention — three genuinely wonderful people who bring warmth, professionalism, and real dedication to everything they do. The support and guidance they provide goes above and beyond what you'd expect.
The course itself is excellent — well-structured, relevant, and engaging. The weekly online training sessions are a highlight, and the communication throughout has been clear, timely, and encouraging every step of the way.
If you're considering a pathway into community services or mental health support, I'd recommend Hader Institute without hesitation. A fantastic institution with fantastic people. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I spoke with a lady named Kim, my problems are a bit upsetting and traumatising for me but speaking with Kim made it so much easier, she listened to everything I had to say then said she would see it through and would speak with my teacher and check back on me I a month, great service

Make sure you discuss credit transfers…
Make sure you discuss credit transfers and get everything confirmed in writing before signing up with Hader. In my experience, this was not made clear enough during the enrolment process and led to unnecessary frustration. I recommend asking detailed questions and ensuring you fully understand how previous qualifications or credits will be recognised before committing.

It's worth noting that credit transfer and RPL are two distinct processes — credit transfer applies to identical or equivalent units completed at another RTO, while RPL recognises skills and experience gained outside formal study. Eligibility for either is assessed against the specific requirements of each qualification. We encourage all prospective learners to discuss their prior study and experience with our team before enrolling so we can provide clear and accurate guidance upfront. I could not recommend Hader highly…
I could not recommend Hader highly enough. Both Jack and Lester were so helpful through every step of the enrolment process. I always felt informed and well assisted and never once felt rushed.
