The Hairsellon site is simple to use, and I was able to edit my ad multiple times to improve phrasing or update photos. Working via PayPal made the transaction safe. I would use this site again - and might, if I let my hair grow back!

Had a great experience. My initial questions were answered quickly by the site administrators.
As a first-timer I was nervous, but followed the instructions and the tips for sellers to create my profile. Posted about 7 photos of my 24-25 inches of hair (still attached, which is one way to prevent scams) and a complete description.
I started getting e-mails within 24 hours. I had no asking price (offers accepted) so the offers ranged from $100 to $350. I used my intuition to weed out ones that looked iffy and settled on one - buying my hair for $325, with another $25 added for shipping and insurance.
The seller requested photos of the hair cut, which I feel is another way to avoid being scammed.
The sale and the payment through PayPal were completed in less than one week.
After the hair is cut, I'll have $250 to donate to cancer research - more than I would have been able to donate on my own!

Great experience selling my hair - less than a week from listing to cutting and shipping! Made about $275 profit (cost of haircut taken out). Both Hairsellon and my buyer helped me through the process in a way that protected all parties' interests.

I uploaded an add at Hair Sellon and had a few technical difficulties. I messaged them for help. I never received a response. I got a few responses to my add and was made aware of some possible scams/situations to be aware of. I live-chatted the website about my concerns and questions about a request I received. I never got a response. I missed out on a potential buyer because I did not receive the needed support. I would not recommend this website to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience using Hairsellon.com! I listed my hair for $600, and ended up getting $800. If your hair is not getting sold on this site in a matter of days, you are probably not in the market to sell your hair. As with any site where you are directly involved (not DIRECTLY, directly, but the COMPANY is not giving you money or requesting specifics, the buyer is) YOU MUST BE WARY OF SCAMS. This is not the fault of the website. Do NOT sell to the first person who comes along, and if you feel like you are about to get scammed, don't have contact with that buyer/seller anymore. There are plenty of good ones on the site, there is no need to jump into something you are uncomfortable with. Do some research about selling your hair before listing so you don't waste your time and money, it is not an endeavor meant for everyone. ALL IN ALL FIVE STARS!! WELL BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED!

I paid for an unlimited listing. I had unlimited time to sell this one listing on their website. They said I could revise it anytime. I got no offers so I tried to lower the price. When I did they told me my ad had expired and wanted to charge me to list it again. No response to multiple requests for assistance. Just emails from them offering to sell me a new listing.

I had a great experience - I posted a listing for $300 and had an agreement with a buyer 10 days later! Minus the $14 listing and the $11 shipping I made a profit of $275! :)

Hair was fake and really bad quality. I bought there 4 times and i got scammed all the times. I havent had any luck at all.
I never will buy any hair from there. Everyone makes money and selling fake and syntetic hair. Stay away this website.
