I've been using Hairstory for a little over 2 months now and I have to say that it's really been a game changer for me. I have really thick/coarse/dry type 3c-4c hair. As a kid I hated wash days, mostly filled with tears, and hours of fighting through the process from takedown, detangle, wash, detangle some more, condition, leave in, detangle again, rinse and then don't get me started on how it was STILL DRY AND TANGLED, and how much leave in product id need to blow it out just to be left feeling greasy and sore at that point. Ive been on this hair health journey recently and vowed to actually figure my hair out so that I can grow it out. I tried Hairstory in the rich formula not really expecting anything and saw results after the first wash....My hair detangled so easily in the shower ( i didn't even use the pre-poo i usually use because i wanted to see what it did on its own). I was able to wash my hair in like 10 minutes and blow it out in 25!! if you don't have coarse hair that may sound like a long time to you but trust me i usually spend 90 minutes on my hair so this was insane to me. my curls were way more defined and my hair stayed soft for days. I used to wash my hair once a month because I would get so anxious about having to deal with it that I avoided doing it (i don't produce oil and barely use any products so don't get build up so its not like my hair looked or felt gross) but now I wash my hair once or twice a week because I'm not avoiding doing it and actually enjoy the process! I've seen my hair look so much more healthy and moisturized and am getting regrowth in areas that were a little sparse. I'm confident that if I keep up this routine that i'll be able to wear my natural hair out instead of doing braids/installs all the time. Definitely recommend to anyone with my hair type who has struggled!

I’ve been really happy with my experience with Hairstory. The New Wash has honestly made a noticeable difference in how my hair feels. It’s much smoother and way less frizzy than before, and it just feels healthier overall. I also had a great experience with customer service. They were kind, responsive, and very helpful.

I was excited to try New Wash but the final verdict is a no for me unfortunately.
What worked:
It definitely balanced out the greasiness of my scalp, and in my experience, the promise that you will get out of the cycle of hair being overwashed then regreasing a couple of days later came true almost immediately after I started using it. My scalp was happy.
Also it feels divinely smooth to use, detangles your hair way better than conditioner, the brush just glides through your hair afterwards, and it smells very nice.
What didn't work:
My main issue was not grease but frizz. I don't have excessively frizzy hair but it is my main issue, and I've tried all the conditioners and sprays and serums out there, nothing seems to make much difference. I have fine hair and a few greys now which seem to make the frizz worse. I was hopeful for this product because I totally bought into the idea that it was the detergent in shampoo adding to the frizz. It didn't help at all. Actually I feel that my hair was a bit dryer and the frizz may even have worsened.
Also, I was told that a 50€ pouch would last me about 75 days. I struggled to finish the month with it, washing twice a week, which makes it very expensive.
So I won't be spending 50€ a month on this.
Went back to shampoo and conditioner this week and my hair is smoother.

Cancelled my order but they charged my card and sent it anyway. Terrible website to order products and they will not offer a refund or nobody calls to sort it out. Horrible customer service. It’s enough to stop me from ordering this product.

There was a problem with my order (received the wrong items) and Aline was super responsive and helpful. It has all been sorted out. I love Hairstory products!

What’s with all the plastic? I’ve been buying Hairstory for over three years now……( maybe longer) good product, no bad ingredients important for people who have health concerns like myself……..but VERY expensive.
the hair wash has always come in a pouch,never been offered a bottle before….. I also buy the hair balm, they stopped the refill pouch of the hair balm and I could only buy it in a bottle, hard to get all the last bits out of bottles and nozzle tubes, (as I said very expensive so every little bit counts) anyhoo continued buying the pouch of hair wash and the bottle of balm, on my new order this week I get an empty plastic bottle along with the hair wash pouch, with a whole load of fangled instructions on how to operate it and yet another plastic scalp brush………it’s no cheaper to just buy a refill pouch so why bother with a bottle? Why so complicated……or are these new pouches that you claim are totally recyclable going to dissolve or break down if I use straight from the pouch as I have always done?

Had a shipping issue and it was resolved immediately with no issues. Communication was great along the way and Aline was friendly, going beyond what I would have normally expected. Thanks Hairstory!

I had a wrong address when the order was processed and they were very quick to respond and help me change it. 10/10

I’ve been using Hairstory for about two years now and subscribe to both their new wash and hair balm. They have always been consistent in the quality of their product as well as their customer service! I air dry my hair and it has gone from frizzy to the perfect amount of volume. I unfortunately got sent a damaged item and they replaced it in 5 days with a new item for free. If you are thinking of trying their products go for it!

After few weeks I am still waiting for my product to arrive, however the customer service have followed up, got in touch with me, offered me refund and small discount if I would to buy product again, fingers cross it arrives soon, can’t wait to try hairstory new wash :)

The website glitches out on me when I was trying to update my address and submitted it with an incorrect address. But the customer support was very helpful and were able to correct it before the package shipped

When I reported my Hairstory shampoo pouch split, they asked for a photo and replaced it! Great customer service, love the product nothing else comes near to it! Great for my thin hair, have recommended to family and friends who are now using it!
