I’ll start with a positive! The completed greenhouse is great! Very sturdy and a great size. The negatives are the instruction manual … what a joke! Missing steps, graphics that you can’t actually see... See more

I was finding it hard to get a part for my greenhouse that was damaged by a falling tree. Until I found Halls greenhouses and email Rachel she sorted the part I needed in no time thanks for your help.

An outstanding job. Looks amazing. 2 panes of glass were damaged. A quick phonecall and replaced in a few days. The reason for the damage was explained and the replacements came so well packaged it would have been a miracle to have been damaged. Excellent job very professional and very helpful.

Really positive from ordering to receiving the greenhouse. The actual greenhouse is very sturdy and of very good quality. Highly reccomended.

We needed some parts for an old greenhouse. Our detailed requirements were attentively listened too and then professionally and promptly dealt with. Despite the greenhouse no longer being made the warehouse staff looked and found the missing parts in their warehouse and then reponded the same day. Rachel on Customer service came back to us the same day and we completed the order. Fantastic service, thank you.

From the first phone call to order our new greenhouse the service i received was exceptional.
Delivery was meant to be kerbside only but the driver took all the parts of the greenhouse into my back garden which was so helpful.
The greenhouse itself had each part labelled and was packaged in the order it was to be assembled.
Taking my time I was able to erect the greenhouse on my own and if a person in his late 60s can do it on his own anyone can.
Did have one small problem as the instructions are quite dark and needed to phone for assistance. Was amazed at the service I received and was sent an email with clearer coloured instructions instantly.
Cannot recommend this company highly enough.
As a final note greenhouse has been up 2 weeks now and seedlings are already growing which is lovely to see.
Thanks for all the support

From purchase to delivery Halls were very informative.
The greenhouse was delivered on the day suggested and the driver Liam? Was so helpful and nothing was too much.
The build was super easy and the instructions were easy to follow.
I’d highly recommend using this company if you’re thinking of buying a greenhouse.
Just wish I had more space to put another.

Ordered a lovely greenhouse from a local garden shop, I had notification of delivery within the original agreed wait time given by the sales team.
Unfortunately due to my husband's work he was called away last min on a work trip, i had no one else to help me maneuver the boxes and had a flap about what I would do, I admitted defeat thinking leaving it on the drive with a risk of it being stolen was the only option 😔 until a later date.
I explained to the delivery driver I was unable to mannage the weight of the parcels alone and had to somehow get them to the garden which is accessed at the side of the house with a steep set of stairs due to the hill the house is built on, I probably looked rather pathetic by this stage and fully expected him to drop it and drive off as it wasn't his problem but to my surprise..
Let's say gentlemen still exist! and my faith in humanity has been restored, the driver was I'd take a guess near retirement age or just over, yet he carried those boxes down those stairs like the wonderful legend he is, he certainly didn't have to it was not part of his job but he took extra time to help me and that means alot.
Thank you for going above and beyond helping me like that..
If this was any other delivery company I can guarentee they would have dropped and ran but he didn't.. he helped and that man needs a bonus!
Not all heros wear capes..

The instructions are so poor that I doubt they are fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Of course, Halls will say 'we offer an installation service' but I'm afraid that doesn't make up for such poor quality instructions.

Bought a Halls Lean to Greenhouse with an automatic vent opener. The vent opener had a couple of screws missing. I rang and spoke to Rachel, she sorted my problem immediately and very efficiently. I experienced great personal service. Thank you.

Hall’s greenhouses are fantastic I’ve nothing but praise for the company, after researching around Christmas 24/25 I decided on the halls popular and placed my order with payment around January/February 2025; unfortunately the expected delivery date in February clashed with a hospital appointment and was put back, within a couple of days I was amazed to find my payment had been returned only taken again when I had a new date in March 2025.
The delivery went well glass crated and structural components all neatly boxed, to avoid working on the ground I set up a makeshift workbench which worked really well for me, assembly was straightforward using the boxes as recommended numbered alphabetically building section one at a time till final assembly, fitting the propylene glass mounts I found best during construction, simple enough once you’d mastered the technique, final assembly went well and fitting the glass was a joy as I slowly enclosed the greenhouse.
I opted for the powder coated model and was very pleased I’d ordered toughened glass which was all in one section per pane.
Just a footnote I found it easiest to leave the glass package upright removing enough of the crate to extract the glass as required.
Obviously I had a construction query which was swiftly answered when I phoned for advice.
I’d recommend Halls without hesitation, looking forward to another amazing growing season in 2026

The instructions for poplar 6x8 greenhouse and plinth are shockingly bad. The pictures mean absolutely nothing without relevant script, just arrows and numbers. What’s that all about?
Trying to find simple explanations is a fruitless task. I wanted to know how to assemble the plinth without the anchor spikes, and no matter where I searched I got nothing but sales pitches.
I thought to book a Halls engineer to assemble it for me due to the lack of decent instructions however, that too is impossible on their site as there is no link to book such a person.
What an absolute shambles of a company. I would be happy if they just came and took the entire thing back but I doubt they could even manage that.

The lady, Rachel I spoke to was very helpful and despatched some parts same day, sent me more detailed instructions as I rang for some assistance as the original instructions that came with the greenhouse were not the best, not explaining some parts of the build as well as could have been

I ordered an 8 by 6 Halls Popular Greenhouse with toughened glass and a base. From date of ordering to delivery (I'm in South Lincolnshire) it took just under 4 weeks. Delivery was at 7.45am and the glass comes on one pallet and the frame in two long boxes. Super efficient delivery that took less than 5 minutes. My family helped me to build it, it took us an entire day! The rubbers took us the longest. Nevertheless the quality of the greenhouse is amazing and I am super happy with it. Would highly recommend.

Rating the greenhouse was difficult, on one hand the actual greenhouse (popular 8x6) seems like a sturdy structure and i`m sure when the sun and warmer weather arrive it will prove a good buy. On the other hand it was (and still is as i havent quite finished) the most difficult thing i`ve ever had to put together. The other comments about the instructions weren`t wrong, you have to use alot of assumptions to get it together, then you`ll realise there were elements missing, or so subtly mentioned that you didnt do them and you have to take parts down and put them back up. Theres a video on youtube done by someone unconnected to the company and thats alot more help than anything they provide. Also the base isnt the same size as the greenhouse which isnt helpful.
In summary, worth getting one as they`re relatively cheap in comparison to some i found, but you need to know what you`re doing to put it together, or just pay someone to do it.

**edit to respond - please just make better institutions for future customers, lots of people have asked, I’m unsure why you wouldn’t want to take this feedback and do something with it?
Nearly finished building the greenhouse and I have hated nearly every minute of it. I thought the reviews I read were exaggerating about the instructions but they are actually terrible. Even the online versions, whilst slightly clearer, are still shocking. The steps are unclear, some steps are missing, and there is a lot of guess work involved. Building the greenhouse takes a lot longer that it should as you spend such a long time trying to figure out which way round pieces should go, you think you have it, then you end up having to undo and rebuild bits. There is a YouTube video that helps a bit but even then it’s just poor. Such a shame as it seems that this is an issue people have been complaining about for some time - why not fix this Halls?

Loving my new Popular 86.
We did struggle a bit with assembly but wanted to thank Rachel at Juliana for being so helpful and showing great product knowledge to show where we had gone wrong. We put parts upside down!
Can’t wait to start growing

I bought the Magnum 10 ft x 8 ft Greenhouse back in 2024, and was disappointed from the off really.
The instructions were terrible. Once installed, the door rubbers were the first issue; even now, they are hanging off and are a very poor design.
Storm Bert resulted in the glass panel to the left of the door going due to the frame buckling, the next storm saw the right-hand pane go. I believe this is due to the size of the doorway and stiffening around it - it lacks structural strength when hit by sidewinds, the rear handled it very well. If you buy this greenhouse, go on eBay and buy 200 extra glass clips. The ones they supply are nowhere near enough - it will save you a lot of money down the road.
The key went rusty within the first week, and with last week's storm, I had to tie the doors closed because they came open, resulting in me losing three ceiling panes.
I understand that storms are going to cause problems, but I just think there's a lack of consideration in the design - the cost of replacing glass means I would have been better off buying a rival brand that is designed for British weather - would have saved me time picking glass out of the grass and the anxiety during high winds.

I recently acquired a Halls Cube Square greenhouse and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service, notably from Rachael Philpot. Her meticulous attention to detail and the comprehensive information she provided greatly assisted me in arranging the safe delivery and installation of my greenhouse. Interacting with her was truly a pleasure.
