Hamseys has worked hard to become one of the most trusted suppliers of beds, mattresses and furniture in the South East of England. We are proud to say we have more than 50 years of experience, and have used that time to better understand the needs of our customers and how to meet them. As a result, we have served generations of customers. Quite a few have never slept on anything but a Hamseys mattress, and we hope they never have to! Though we’ve expanded our product range to include hundreds of beds, mattresses and other types of furniture and have 4 store locations throughout the South East, we haven’t forgotten our roots. We still operate out of our Crawley warehouse complex, and offer the same high quality and award-winning customer service which made us what we are today. We also have stores in Wallington, Beckenham and Leatherhead. One of the things which sets us apart in the industry is that Hamseys owns and operates our own fleet of efficient, reliable delivery vehicles. This allows us to give you better service, and to guarantee reliable, professional and convenient delivery for all of the products we sell, in-store and now online!

Order taken Monday and delivered today…

Order taken Monday and delivered today my single mattress
Rude , horrible very unprofessional delivery men driving the Hamseys Van.
Had my old mattress in the hallway ready for delivery guys to collect. Because I didn't take it out of my house he said "you don't like moving" then gave a rude comment on my old mattress saying that I must of hidden cash inside it and that I should of thrown it in the skip . I told the driver that I had paid the £20 for your company to collect the old mattress.
Need to change or some training is required in customer service. Would never purchase from this company again. Shall make friends and family aware too.

Highly recommend service and mattress

I visited a few times in November to try out Hamseys mattresses. Having visited Bensons and dreams I found their staff pestering and over bearing. At Hamseys it was not like this.

I asked questions and got answers. I asked advice and her options and I asked to just lie there for 10 mins and got left alone. On my third visit I was happy and easily guided through a quick purchase including free pillows, mattress cover and mattress removal.

I was given an accurate delivery date estimate and was called when my mattress came in to ask for a suitable delivery date.
On the day I was called and given 30mins warning. The team were polite clean and left clear advice.

I've now been sleeping on my new 3000pocket sprung foam topped mattress for 4 weeks and have absolutely loved it. Its supportive and comfortable but easy to turn and tuck a sheet under. Incredible.

The shops dont look much but the service and product I chose were 5 stars! Highly recommend

Scott in New Malden

Had dealings with Scott in the New Malden branch who we found knowledgeable and frank about our issue and he promptly arranged a home visit. Were satisfied with our meeting and have bought from that branch a couple of times in the past and never experienced any hard sell, only good value.

Happy customer

This is the second bed I've bought from Hamseys. Can't praise the Leatherhead branch enough. Polite, knowledgeable and overall a pleasure to deal with. The team even accommodated changes in my requirements not once, but twice.

I don't even want to give rating

I don't even want to give rating. I was showed one mattress and delivered another mattress. It felt like a scam and you don't expect thus from a big company. I would advice everyone to triple check everything and take photo and vedio. Very easy to be scamed by them as they deliver. I don't know if this is company policy or individual stores.

Broken bed, Poor service, Inadequate customer service

Went in to look for a bed and the salesman really pushed the sale by offering both £100 off the mattress if we bought the bed frame and matress together, free assembly and they offered to hold it for us free of charge until we needed it.
It was delivered today and the bed frame was split. Initially the delivery men were not even aware that they also had to fit it.
We phoned the store and went into the store and all they could say is that there isn't much they could do other than order a new one and hope that it is delivered on Tuesday. I asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience they had caused us and the manager said that they do not have to offer a refund for this type of error. Absolutely disgusted by the poor service and their ability to fix the issue immediately with definite certainty of when we will actually receive the new bed.

As for the bed issue, our apologies that its condition was not the best - these issues may happen and we wish to have quick solutions for them, which I understand was not the case.

Hamseys Beckenham are liars misleading…

Hamseys Beckenham are liars misleading store. If you pay deposit on payment scheme but no actual payment plans drawn orcset up they not tell you that you cannot cancel but claim goods in warehouse yet if you go in shop to say want one they say it take 4 weeks to makeup as they not store any and if you go to pay your lay away off they you gots wait 4 weeks them to make it up. YET THEY REFUSE TO REFUND but at no time when place order do they mention or draw attention to their dodgy sales tactics... BEWARE.. Beckenham Croydon Road Branch... KEEP AWAY.. I tried for years my refund bit the manager kept refuse. So beware people as they tell you anything fob you off and talk of excuses. I want my 100 pounds back please and apology
