Sammy is so knowledgable and has put together a superb paediatric first aid course that is informative yet easy to digest. She breaks down some scary topics into practical steps that leave you feeling able to deal with common emergencies.
Sammy was so flexible in relation to our booking and managed to fit our NCT class in before our due dates despite that not being very long!
I’d highly recommend to anyone about to have a baby/has just had a baby to empower you to feel equipped to deal with medical issues that arise

Sammy was incredible! Quick on email response, the first aid class was amazing, she was so clear, fun to be around and just an all round wonderful person. I will be recommending to everyone I know who would like to go down the first aid training route.

Sammy’s first aid training course was fantastic! It must be difficult to get so much information out in such a short amount of time but Sammy did it with humour, keeping all participants engaged throughout. We’ve just completed our second session with Sammy and as ever she was brilliant. Not only are her sessions super clear and easy to follow, she makes a serious subject fun, engaging and relaxed. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions (far more than we thought we would!) and feel much more confident parents as a result. Sammy also left us with a really brilliant handbook - so easy to use as it has the key points in a small and very easily accessible format and so would be extremely helpful in an emergency. Thank you Sammy - you definitely haven’t seen the last of us!

Do not hesitate to book with Sammy, she is the perfect first aid teacher - knowledgeable, personable, and passionate (and hilarious too). My husband and I actually enjoyed the daunting topics covered in the 2-hour training and now feel so much better informed and prepared for the arrival of our first baby.

Having done an adults first aid course before at work that was a bombardment of PowerPoint slides, Sammy's tailored course delivered to a small group was the perfect dose of information without crossing into overwhelming territory. She even provided a little book as a memory aid and to take notes, and a chocolate pick-me-up for energy levels.

The dolls help make the learning kinasthetic and there were visual aids too that help for a range of learning styles. She even stocks an on the go first aid kit that we were able to purchase afterwards.

Huge thanks to Sammy, I'm sure many parents and caregivers feel calm and prepared for any crises of the future, which is what it's all about.

This was an enjoyable and informative couple of hours. Sammy is an excellent trainer. At the end of the class we were both much more aware of possible risks and dangers, but we’re also confident that we’re now equipped to handle these issues if they crop up. Sammy was patient and happy to answer all our questions, and the combination of examples from Sammy’s own personal and professional experience, with hands-on practice was effective. Together with the pocket guidebook we received this means there’s a good chance we will retain what we’ve learnt.

I went to bed last night with confidence that I would know how to help my baby if the worst was to happen, as a first time mum the anxiety is through the roof but you have helped beyond belief.

Absolutely fantastic course. I felt very anxious before the course that I wouldn’t know what to do in an emergency especially being a first time mum but I came away feeling so much calmer and confident.

Sammy provides so much useful information in the two hours but without being completely overwhelmed with things to remember. Sammy has a lovely friendly approach with a whole wealth of knowledge and was happy to answer any additional queries we had. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn about baby/child first aid.

Sammy is a wonderful teacher and led a relaxed yet very informative course. I feel so much better prepared to deal with an emergency having attended class.

The course was interesting and informative and gave us plenty of knowledge and easy techniques to remember what you learn in the future.
