Really great service. My russian doll batt system arrived really quickly and I'm thrilled with it. It fits perfectly - I don't have pins on my wheel. I no longer have to wire off the bottoms of pots, they just lift off with perfectly smooth bottoms when they're leather hard. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered a bespoke pottery form, delivery was prompt and the product first class. I already had overwheel throwing batts manufactured by Hartley and Noble so I was aware of the qualty of their products. If you're looking for pottery forms try this company, excellent service and first class products.

I have just received my beautiful round straight edge 30 mm deep forms from H&N 😁
They only do these forms as a set for the wheel but as I do not have a wheel (I hand build) I asked them if they could do the forms without the wheel attachments and the did!!!

I ordered the Over-the-Wheel Russian Doll Batt System (No Batt Pins) a few weeks ago. The presentation of the batts is great and almost seemed a shame to get them dirty! I've now used them a few times, and they make throwing so much quicker. I highly recommend the batts and the service received from Hartley and Noble.

I have recently ordered a set of a Hartley and Noble bat adapter and bats as I was struggling to get my pots off my wheel. I am an absolute beginner so anything to make my life easier!

The company were so helpful and even marked a couple of the bats to show where i should be putting my clay. They even included a little extra which was nice.

Unfortunately though I am unable to show any fabulous pictures as I appear to have lost the ability to centre my clay! I’m not sure if this is due to changing the height of my wheel and sitting position so I am hoping my husband can sort it this for me soon and another lesson with a teacher is on the cards. In the meantime though I can say that the bats worked exceptionally well for the 3 wonky pots I’ve created so far!

I recently bought the Russian doll batt system from Hartley and Noble. I'm lucky enough to live quite close, so went to the workshop to collect, and they were absolutely lovely people! The batt system is a total game changer - no more wiring off and getting wobbly bottoms! Just ordered more inserts, and they came beautifully packaged. Thanks H&N!

My Hartley and Noble over the wheel Batt system has served me excellently for five years. Nothing warped or distorted at all, and having it enabled me to increase my production enormously. Its a superb design and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upsize their output. Without a doubt an invaluable addition to any potters tools.

I ordered the Mini Over-the-Wheel Russian Doll Bat System and I love it! Beeing a new potter, getting my creation of the wheel (whatever it turned out to be) always felt like a hustle. But no more!
Living in Sweden, and the fact that my wheel is not standardsize, meant that it took about three weeks before it arrived, but it was well worth all the wait and every penny! I was a bit worried about the fit, but it fits like a glove and is so easy to use. My jumbosized mugs still turn out as espressocups, sugarbowles and even ashtrays, but at least they are not warped and full of fingerprints anymore. So nice!

Super fast delivery even over Christmas! Really looking forwards to using the plate formers - I have no doubt they will be a good as the tile batts I have been using for a few years now which are still as good as new!

Best bats I ever used. I order them from Germany because we have nothing like them here.

I love that they are durable, don't warp and that plates come off even without wiring off.

Also, the customer service is super friendly and always quick to answer.

I ordered a batt adapter for my potters wheel; having measured the diameter of the wheel head as being 20cm . When the adapter arrived I found that it wouldn’t fit ; I remeasured it and discovered that it was in fact 20.32cm /8 inches …i called customer service support who immediately set up a teams meeting online with Stuart the owner… he was extremely helpful and offered to try and adapt the adapter for me. I posted it off and within a week received a brand new adapter ( it had proved too difficult to adapt the original..) I have not been charged for the replacement adapter or the return postage … Who could ask for better customer service than this? I am indebted to Stuart and his small business for helping me in this matter and for his generous support. I would like to highly recommend this company for the services they provide. Thank you
