The content is great but the app, the many issues with subtitles and billing, and the customer service make this all horrible. Wish I could drag Hayu like Porsha dragged Kenya.

I’ve never had this much trouble trying to cancel a subscription before. It shouldn’t be this hard — and frankly, it feels deliberately obstructive, as if they are making it difficult on purpose to keep charging customers.
To make matters worse, it’s become apparent that there is no actual customer support number to speak to a real person. That’s extremely shaky and unprofessional, especially for a paid service.
This whole experience comes across as a cash grab, not a customer-focused service. Rest assured, I won’t be subscribing again or recommending Hayu to anyone. Cancelling should be easy — not something that takes multiple days of stress and wasted time.

Absolutely disgusting company. Please never ever give them your money!!!! Customer service is dreadful and have no respect for the customers. Cancelled my subscription 5 times month on month and to my surprise they take money off me each month (SOMETIMES TWICE) emailed to complain 5 times over 5 months and to this day the charges are still being made, each time I have received a short email back saying the charges are valid. Worst company I have ever come across. Should be shut down.
Customer service unreachable
Canceled my Hayu subscription (well before its renewal) and shortly after, you can imagine my surprise when I received notifications of Hayu trying to book off money off my creditcard. I emailed Hayu directly, asking if there had been an error and whether they could look into it. They confirmed I had no active account anymore and requested some additional info to resolve the matter, which I sent. That was also the last I have ever heard from Hayu. As I kept receiving daily notifications of Hayu trying to take money from my creditcard, I sent out reminders requesting to resolve the issue. No more response to anything from Hayu - they are absolutely unreachable. I am quite surprised by the level of unprofessionalism from a company of this size and reach. If you feel comfortable charging people for your services, at least offer good services - customer service is an essential part of it.

Worst app. Every time I try to watch a video I get multiple, different errors. I’ve been in touch with customer service for a year. They kept saying “we’re working on it”. They weren’t. Now they’ve stopped replying completely. How is this the only way to watch bravo abroad?!?!?
Constant errors
There always seems to be an error where I cannot use Hayu. There is no way of contacting Hayu customer service, as I cannot even log in to do so. This seems to be a common complaint and must be sorted as we pay for our subscriptions.

Really terrible app, keeps crashing- for a subscription service they should invest in decent functionality and capacity at peak times. Impossible to watch at times for more than a minute before an “oops, something went wrong” notification pops up.

It constantly unpairs the device so you can’t watch the app from your tv. The whole platform never works there is constant issues with it, I have never been so frustrated with a company and their lack of help!! Last month it wouldn’t acknowledge that I had paid my subscription through apple even though I had screenshots of the payment going through my bank. So I had to cancel my account and recreate a new one with a new email and pay again even though I had already paid it (luckily I got a refund from apple as there customer service is brilliant) then I have constant problems with accessing the app on my tv. I sign in with all my details and do all the security checks and it never signs me in, it literally sends you around in a constant loop and you can never access the content as it is stuck on the sign in button!!! It is the worst app I have ever used…..And now I have cancelled my subscription and want my personal information off the account I created and there response is to cancel my subscription from apple!!! Which I have already done, I just want all my personal information deleted which is on their app but they can’t tell how to do it!! The customer service is useless don’t bother with the app it’s a complete waste of money!!!

Yep, got to agree with every one start review. Horrendous app, bugs everywhere but most annoying is it never remembers where you left off so you spend 10 minutes finding it.

Worst app. They fail perpetually when posting videos, the customer is brutal at best, they make no change to their constant errors and they blame outside sources for their app failing on an almost daily basis. How are we as paying customers putting up with this continued ignorance? They send automated responses and repeat their ignorance.
