Check your billing history! They overcharge on TAXES!
Check your billing history and demand a refund if you were overcharged. I realized that Hayu charged me for 22% tax for the auto-renew for the last 2 years. My province is only subject to 12%. I had to email several times and they kept saying that the price had gone up since 2021. But I took a screen shot that shows what the price should be and the tax % that my province pays. They eventually credited me back the overpayment for the last 2 years. Please check what you were charged to make sure they did not inflate the tax for your province/state. I find it extremely unethical that a company like Hayu would cheat their customers by charging extra tax, in hopes that it wouldn't be caught. I am canceling my subscription and will NEVER use their services again!
Terrible App
What a terrible app that stops starts all the time. Paying good money for this, Hayu need to sort this out!!!
Cancelled during free trial
Day 3 into my free trial & have cancelled subscription. This app needs a lot of work to make me want to stay. Kept getting kicked out or screen freezing. Also a lot of buffering, I expected some with a streaming app but this was excessive.

Guys seriously, what’s the point in having good content if your app is too c@ap to watch it on. Also heaven forbid you should try to use it on multiple devices because it will not sync so you have to constantly remember where you left each episode. If this was free it would still be too expensive

I enjoy the shows however the app is sub par, often not loading, programs that do not play and other technical issues. They also just raised their subscription fees?
Which is laughable, a refund of some sort would have engendered some trust and respect or simply greased the wheels.

Wow ..been thrown out of the App 4 times this evening...absolutely horrendous...even happened whilst I'm writing this , the main screen freezes and the picture often starts out very blurry..How's a girl supposed to watch her rubbish TV shows ...Will not be subscribing again .
Really poor quality app
Really poor quality app. Constantly buffers, kicks you out the app, freezes, goes blurry, forgets where you stop on an episode so when you return to watch the episode you need to find where you last left the app. Error messages come up often. So annoying
VERY ANNOYED
I subscribed through youtube. I pay on the 27th every month through Google play linked to PayPal. The subscription states it renews on 27/01/2025 on both youtube and Google play. But you decided to take my money today which now put my PayPal balance in the negative. The renewal date hasn't changed. So does that mean you'll charge me next week again? That will be a double payment. Just sent an email and you better resolve this. This is unacceptable 😤
Sneaky double payments and no response
Cancelled once and continued being charged. Cancelled again and on closer look realised I've been double charged for over a year (should have noticed but with a 3.99 and 4.99 charge on different days it wasn't something that stood out). Contacted and was asked for proof which I have 5 days ago. Funny how they're quick to respond until they owe you a refund. Do not use.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Signed up through sky and cancelled. They continued to take payment for 6 months. No phone numbers. They send you the same standard email again and again KNOWING it’s not resolving it.
Had to cancel through my bank who told me that Hayu do this repeatedly and even try to set it up under other names after you manage to cancel.
In the end I’ve had to cancel the payment and get a new card to stop them charging me.

Hayu Issues
So have issue since before christmas, i subscribe thru sky (who have been brill) my bills paid everything works except hayu, have been emailing proof since dec 20th, now i am being ignored on email so messaged on x and they blaming sky when i have sent proof, just called sky and they have had lots of calls about it. On hayu i cant resubscribe or cancel as comes up error! Just shocking and no contact number

Hayu is an awful app/platform, regularly doesn’t work or has issues logging in, playing episodes/linking devices. Not worth the money & I can’t believe it’s still been offered. Subscribed to it numerous times over the years & each time the functionality of it gets worse.

Contact customer service on 2 seperate occasions they ask a question i reply and they disappear!!! Im fuming! Worst Streaming App I have ever used
Worst Streaming App I have ever used. Freezes every episode, doesn’t register where you are in series/episode so constantly having to rewatch and forward episodes to work it out. Makes you sign back in every few days on tv. Customer Service absolutely no help. Considering this review is the same as many from months ago they clearly have no desire to sort this out. Terrible for a paying streaming service.

Such a buggy platform
Such a buggy platform, makes you log in nearly every time, freezes a lot, throws up errors '0033' and '0032' and the help centre just repeat the same thing - pls delete your cache and try again, even if you tell them you've already tried that. No other streaming channel has this issue.
