Ordered a set of cleaning brushes. Soon after placing the order, I received an email explaining that one item in the set was temporarily out of stock and asking whether or not I would prefer to wait a few days for the item to arrive in stock. I opted to wait and the brushes arrived as per the revised schedule. The brushes are of very good quality.

The product was delivered in good time, and well wrapped. It is good quality, and I will order from Heima again.

I have ordered these before from another vendor at a higher price and already knew I liked them and wanted more. They are useful from laundry to kitchen. Useful and made to last. Straightforward order, well packed, no issues

Decided to treat myself to a copper watering can. The price was very good and the product arrived promptly in recycled packaging which was good. Lovely watering can and great service, one happy customer 😊

We were in York to visit our son, on the way in I spotted this most wondrous emporium. The next day after parking my husband in Museum Gardens I hot-footed my way there. Entering was a revelation a veritable Aladdin's cave of all things house, garden and all stations in-between. Sadly they didn't have the very thing I went in for, a wooden water barrel tap. A tad downhearted I mooched around gathering ideas for an on-line purchase on our return to Cumberland. My first order arrived today, start slow and build up ever so slowly was my idea and that is exactly what I did. Compostable Jute Pea and Bean Netting, Very Chunky Jute Twine and Medium Bamboo Tongs all of which arrived perfectly packed without the merest suspicion of plastic. I was happy, happy to return and buy again in person and via on-line sales. Next stop the amazing enamel ware. I applaud you for a truly wonderful shopping experience.

The clothes pegs are very good - well made and strong, like the wooden pegs we were able to buy in the 1960s. However, they are a little too chunky. I’d give Five stars if Heima could produce standard sized wooden clothes pegs of the same quality.

Reasonable price for item which I had trouble sourcing anywhere else in the UK and quickly delivered. Always happy to support independent shops.

So glad we found this shop. Ordered strong wooden clothes pegs and they are so much better that we found elsewhere. Arrived really quickly in recycled packaging.

I had a problem with the order - it went missing in transit - and Heima sorted it out immediately. It was a second order of beech-wood clothes pegs which I'd ordered over a year ago and found to be a lot more robust than the other wooden ones on the market.

Great product, great price

Ordered an Akinod lunch bag and bento box online for pick-up in store, having been eyeing it up in the window of the shop for weeks. It was reserved and ready for collection all packaged up with a nice note, and a message about sustainable packaging. Very pleased with ge product, it’s just what I was looking for.

Incredible customer care and service from wonderful staff. The whole shopping experience was exemplary. My purchase was exactly what I wanted. The packaging superb and super fast dispatch. I cannot rate this independent store highly enough. What a gem of a find!
