I made a purchase in the York shop when I was visiting and then made two internet purchases because I was so impressed with the range of products. Everything has been dispatched with alacrity and nothing has disappointed. I bought: large blue ceramic-looking metal tray and matching coasters - very beautiful and useful; Japanese bright yellow toolbox- perfect size and design, just needed a bit of oil on the hinges; soup socks; Turkish coffee pan in sage; raffia ‘hank’(!); grey metal compost bin - capacious, well -designed and aesthetically pleasing.

It was so easy to find my goods, order them and then to received in excellent condition.

The item appears strong and well made. I liked the information that was supplied about the company and also the explanation given for the packaging they use. Will definitely use Heima again.

A great little shop. I always pop in when in York, and buy bits and pieces online in-between. They have a really interesting selection of things for the home (as well as old-school hardware) that you don't often see other places, and you can spend ages perusing the shelves. Proper hardwear shops are hard to come by these days, so I'd urge you to support this one.

Was looking for a sturdy step stool in natural material rather than plastic and found this wooden one from Heima. This stool is the perfect height for my needs, alot of the others I looked at were too low. The natural wood is smart and the stool closes down to a mere 10cm which is also a plus as some of the other wooden stools were still too bulky when closed. Very pleased with my purchase
