Efficient and helpful letting Agent

This is the second time I have used Russell at Hello Neighbour to let my flat and on both occasions he was extremely efficient and helpful and everything went very smoothly. I would recommend Russell and Hello Neighbour.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Communication and Support

I had a disappointing experience with Hello Neighbour. Despite contacting their office multiple times, none of the staff seemed to know about the management keys, which should be a basic part of property management. This lack of communication and support led to unnecessary costs on my end.

While online agents may offer lower fees, the poor service and lack of accountability make them difficult to recommend.

I had a fantastic experience working with Russell. My new tenants faced some complicated initial challenges, but Russell and I collaborated seamlessly to resolve everything smoothly. Excellent value and service.

Great service

Great service. I’ve used Hello-Neighbour to advertise, find tenants and manage two properties. They are extremely efficient though at times required some nudging and double checking to be sure. All in all brilliant service for amazingly affordable price.

Excellent

I used Hello Neighbour to let my property for 2 years. They were great in finding me a tenant and sorting things out. I had a few property managers during the 2 years, however Josh Michels was incredible. He's exceptional at his job and was so good throughout the time he was allocated to my property. He's very assuring, responsive and professional. I'd highly recommend HN.

Hello Neighbour has been great to work with! This is my first time letting in the UK and they made the process super easy. The agent I spoke with was very friendly, communicative and patient throughout the referencing process. They even had a free service to help me set up my utility bills which was a huge relief. Highly recommend!

Had a 2 bedroom flat in Deptford/London…

Had a 2 bedroom flat in Deptford/London to rent.. Hello Neighbour made the whole process simple and easy. They made all the access arrangement with my tenants, My Case Worker Rebecca Lancelot was great. She always got straight back to me with updates and necessary info and I know exactly where I stood throughout the process... Hello Neighbour found me great tenants within a week and charged an extremely completive price.. very happy with the complete service.

Exceptional experience with "Letting Full-Service"

My experience with Hello Neighbour has been exceptional. Initially, Victoria answered all my questions with patience and made sure I fully understood what the "Letting Full-Service" included (which is the option I chose to go for).

This is the most inclusive package they offer and it includes services that are usually charged extra by the traditional real estate agents: Floor plan & photographs of the property, viewings, credit checks & references for the candidate tenants, putting together the tenancy agreement, registering the deposit with one of the deposit schemes, inventory & check-in and more.

Then, I closely worked with Isabella which was also always there and went above and beyond to provide an exceptional service. She took care of every little detail involved in the process; From putting together an attractive and accurate listing and handling & coordinating viewings to finding the right tenants and finalising the tenancy agreement. She provided all the necessary information a landlord could want and made sure I understood every step in the process.

The tenancy has just began and I'm looking forward to an equally satisfying experience with Hello Neighbour's property management service.

Dear sir , we are not happy with the service been provided to our rented flat .
we have many issues which we need to make clear to our land lord .
1-from day one there was blocked sink in the kitchen and we reported that she sent some handy man how don't speak English to repair he was telling us through interpreter that the pipes system is not right and he unblocked it , and since we have the sink blocking every now and then , recently was blocked completely and she refused to send any body and told us its our responsibility and we have to get some body professional to un block , we paid 160£
2- we have the bath room seat as well start leaking the water and not possible to use , again refused to do anything and we have to get some professional help again and we paid 220£ again even its not our fault .
3- for the last three months the main Door handle which been reported from day one in the inventory is loose Brooke down we reported that and she told us that this is our responsibility and after that she send the people in the building to fix it , they try and they found that the handle already used was the wrong handle and that is why it broke , since then they promised to come back and repair it and nothing happened ,few times when been locked out but fourteenthly some body was in the flat to open the door i stopped my grandson from coming and visiting its big risk .
this is FAIRE SAFTEY issue and if some thing god forbidden happen to us is your responsibility

Hello neighbour arranged Letting for my flat in Balham. They were professional in their approach and were able to find a tenant quickly however the credit checks process took much longer than expected as the tenants were unable to provide the evidence needed to the reference agency on time. I would have expected Hello Neighbour to do a better dilligence of the tenants financial situation before recommending them.

We understand your concerns regarding the referencing process. As part of our procedure, we conduct mandatory soft checks on tenants before they view a property to ensure the home is the right fit for them and they are eligible to rent the property. At the offer stage, we ask them to confirm all the details before presenting the offers to landlords, who can then decide whether or not to proceed. Once an offer is accepted, the tenants undergo rigorous credit checks and referencing. If any of the information provided during the offer process is found to be untrue, they forfeit their holding deposit (one week’s rent), which is then transferred to the landlord as compensation for time lost.
Regarding the delay in the credit checks, this was unfortunately due to the tenant’s employer, which was beyond our control.
We always strive to make the process as smooth as possible, but at times, we are reliant on external parties for timely responses.
