Sometimes ingredients are missing

• Sometimes ingredients are missing, e.g. a clove of garlic or even a whole avocado.

• Sometimes HelloFresh includes a different ingredient, e.g. bacon instead of sucuk – this is well-intentioned, but if you were looking forward to sucuk, it can be annoying.

• The bags of stock (vegetable, beef, etc.) are made of paper that absorbs moisture, so the contents of the bags are often stuck together. However, I have seen new bags that have been improved. I hope that the old ones will no longer be produced.

Your note regarding replacement items is also very valuable to us. While we do try to find a suitable alternative for You in the event of supply shortages, we naturally understand that swapping sucuk for bacon changes the character of Your planned dish. Regarding the packaging of our stocks, we are pleased that You have already noticed the switch to the new bags. We are constantly working on optimizing our materials to avoid exactly these problems with moisture and stuck contents. We are happy to pass Your praise for this improvement on to our team.

Great recipes but a bit pricey

Great recipes that are often very easy to cook.
However its a bit pricy and I wish there was an option to receive less than 2 meals per week, a bi-weekly option would be great.

the foods is very good and prices honnests

The dishes I have received so far are all very good and the ingredients are of good quality. I received tomatoes that were not very ripe, although they were fine in sauce.
The recipes are also varied and well thought out. However, the preparation times are always too short: the more elaborate the dish, the longer it takes to prepare, especially when there are vegetables to peel and cook.
For small kitchens like mine, I can't do everything at once; it takes me at least 1.5 to 2 hours.
Apart from this unrealistic aspect for me, the rest is very good quality.

Partially the menus are quiet good

Partially the menus are quiet good. The problem is that the ingredient quality is partially poor and not biological good. I prefer paying more for clean and qualitative good food.

While we prioritize sourcing fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients from trusted suppliers, our current model is not 100% organic. We understand that clean, high-quality, and organic food is very important to you, and we take your note about being willing to pay a premium for this standard very seriously. We will pass this input directly to our product and sourcing teams.

If you ever receive an ingredient that does not meet our quality standards, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service directly. We want to ensure you are compensated for anything that wasn't perfect and hope to convince you with better quality in your future boxes.

hours lost trying to use the gutschein code

1 hour lost. I received a gutschein from a friend who recommended me HelloFresh, but after spending all the time to set up the account, give all my data (like address and complete name, payment method, login, password etc) in the very last step it appears an error: “gutschein is for new customers only” I’m a new customer! I have never used hellofresh. I talked to the bot in the chat, the bot recommends to use another email, and another browser. I tried downloading the app, nothing works… I also asked my partner to make an account and try and guess what: she also wasn’t able to use the gutschein! What a waste of time and terrible user experience…

It is extremely upsetting that the voucher did not work even though you have never ordered from us before. Sometimes our security systems are very sensitive regarding codes for new customers (e.g., if a box was delivered to that specific address previously by a former tenant), but this should not prevent you or your partner from trying our service. We are also sorry that the bot and the app did not provide a solution, which obviously led to a terrible user experience.

We would really like to fix this and help you set up your account correctly so you can still use the recommendation discount. Since we cannot access your data through this review, we kindly ask you to contact our customer service one more time.

Please simply type that you want to speak to an Agent in the chat to bypass the bot. Our colleagues can look into this manually and ensure your new customer status is recognized. We would love the chance to turn this around.

Unauthorized Charge and No Help from Customer Service

I am very disappointed with HelloFresh. They took money from my account without my permission, and when I called their customer service to fix the issue, they told me they cannot help me. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Cooking at home with benefits

I like the proposed recipes and the quality of the food is really good. I like to cook fresh meals, but it is sometimes difficult to get new ideas and the ingredients for a special dish. So this is a really nice way to cook on my own and feel like sitting in a restaurant.

- always make sure to review the choices

- portion sizes are often not enough for 2 persons

Zu den Pre-Selected Menus: Wir verstehen Deinen Eindruck, dass diese Zusammenstellungen für Dich oft nicht besonders sind. Die Vorauswahl soll Dir eigentlich Zeit sparen und eine ausgewogene Woche sicherstellen – sie ersetzt aber nicht Deine eigenen Vorlieben. Deshalb ist Dein Hinweis „immer prüfen“ absolut richtig. Wenn Du magst, können wir gemeinsam schauen, wie wir Deine Voreinstellungen (z. B. Küchenstile, Proteine, Kochzeiten) so anpassen, dass die Empfehlungen wirklich zu Dir passen und sich auch „besonders“ anfühlen.

Zu den Portionsgrößen: Es tut uns leid, dass die Mengen für zwei Personen bei Dir zu knapp ausfallen. Appetit, Aktivitätslevel und Präferenzen können stark variieren.
