The telemedicine appointment was very convenient

The telemedicine appointment was very convenient and it was awesome that I was able to schedule very early in the morning prior to work. The nurse practitioner was very nice and was able to explain the medication and all side effects. He also gave me a plan for exercise and diet. I would recommend 100%

The PA was amazing—Price surprise not so much

The PA was amazing—we ended up changing our initial plan, and it turned out to be a much better fit for my needs.

The only reason I can’t give a higher rating is due to the pricing transparency. It showed a $0 cost to start the “new” subscription plan, but after confirming, my card was charged nearly $600. That price wasn’t clearly presented beforehand, and had I seen it, I may have explored other options. I feel a bit stuck now.

Fraud and theft

After meeting with the provider it was agreed that I would continue on my 37.5 dosage. I was charged for 145$ for to 30 tabs but received 15. I have attempted to contact them both by phone and email daily for 8 days and not received response. I am now 7 days away from running out of the med i was charged for. This is fraud and theft.

My weight loss journey

Why Henrys Meds? When I was obese and did not have the support of my doctor to use a GLP-1 despite my diagnosis of pre diabetes, a family history of diabetes, and high fasting blood sugar. Being menopausal I just started gaining weight, despite diet (KETO) and exercise. If diet and exercise was the solution to my weight issue I shouldn't have had a problem, yet there I was. I contacted Henrys Med to figure out if I was a candidate and since insurance wasn't covering the program if I could afford to be on the program.
I have regular visits with my practitioner on Zoom, I can contact Henrys anytime I have questions or am having concerns (like having surgery) while using the medication. The providers are very thorough and you know what your suppose to be doing while using the medication, like exercising, drinking plenty of water and knowledge about how the medication works...how to give yourself shots, etc.
My journey continues and I have lost 40 lbs and am no longer obese, my fasting blood sugar is 93 and my A1C is 5.0. I worried about a yoyo effect of gaining back the weight, however, that hasn't happened. I continue on a maintenance dose and I feel great.

Warning about HenryMeds

I have ordered glp-1 for years through this company. Last year I entered a contract with them for a year to get a price break. Big mistake. I received multiple automated emails from them that my contract was expiring this year and to go to the patient portal to update or they would automatically go month to month and charge original higher price. I emailed and called them MANY times that I didn’t want to go month to month and they completely ghosted me. I have no doubt it was as to start charging my account the amount for month to month price. When I emailed the 6th time the site kept wanting me to verify my email address and I couldn’t get through to them at all. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB and within minutes I received a email that I wouldn’t be charged further. It took this for them to do the right thing. This is a horrible company-please be forewarned

Quick process but no further health guidance for side effects

Application process: 10/10
-Application asks for normal identification, a debit card, and simple health history.
-Videocall was very quick, basically asking the same questions that was on the application process.
-Processing of medication is quick and gives you proper updates.

Advice in Regards to Maintaining Health:
-This specific medication for weight loss has been available, from what I remember, since 2017. Therefore, as doctors and medical providers, I expected that there would be additional information about how to counteract side effects in relation to the pancreas, the liver, the gallbladder, muscle tissue, bone density being negatively affected. The woman who did my video appointment said there is none, besides working out. I would expect that someone in this field with extensive experience in prescribing out the meds and knowing the side effects would also give supplemental instruction. It is off putting that there is “none.”

Henry Meds $550 for Nothing - Completely Ineffective

Henry Meds was a complete waste of money.

They send the medication in a single vial meant to last two months, which is a terrible setup for first-time users. It makes dosing confusing, and I ended up injecting more than prescribed and got very sick.

I paid $550 total ($249 + $299) and lost only 2 pounds in two months. There was zero appetite suppression - it honestly felt like I was injecting water.

When I reached out, their only solution was to keep going and increase the dose, instead of addressing the fact that the medication clearly wasn’t working.

This feels like a business model that profits from people trying it for a couple of months with little to no results. I would strongly caution anyone considering this.

I have been rescheduled three times…

I have been rescheduled three times because of supposedly three emergencies. No calls have been returned. One email only has been returned. No one monitors the calendars. This is bullshit.
