AVOID scam site selling cheap fakes from China with NO returns!

Scam company need to because at all costs. Anything other than a 1 star review is sake!

My white “cotton” shirt took 3 weeks to arrive so you already know it’s going to be crap from china! Sure enough it has no labels but I can tell that it’s NOT cotton definitely synthetic and the style is an ugly copy of the one advertised. They take photos from genuine sites and try to pass customers off with cheap fakes.

A SCAM. PLEASE AVOID

This company is a scam. I am due a refund, but after 4 months of me continuously emailing, I still haven't received anything. The clothes are of terrible quality. AVOID.

Do not trust this company

Bought a dress that turned out to be out of stock. Did not want an alternative. Still waiting for refund 3 months later. They keep saying it is pending. Do not use this company. They are scamming people.

SCAM company based in Hong Kong

This company is a SCAM and makes its money by refusing to refund people. They say they will offer a partial refund so that you don’t have to post back to China, but they have a business address in the UK - so you would think you could post back to there. Anyway, it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t even received my partial refund. They have just created a “system error” adding another 2 weeks onto a straight forward refund. Here’s their latest email:

It appears that there was a technical issue within the refund system affecting some transactions.
Our technical team is currently working to resolve the problem, and they expect the system to be fully functional between October 7th and 10th. Once the system is restored, we will promptly process all pending refunds, including yours.

Oh dear

Oh dear. Cannot say anything positive about my experience dealing with this company.

Order took a long time to arrive altho I was sent 8 emails saying it was on its way.
‘Cashmere’ jumper is very clearly not! No labels at all but if it contains any cashmere it is a minuscule amount. Arrived very crumpled and creased. Has a great deal of something ‘stretchy’ in it.
Don't be fooled by this company. It is NOT British and the product I received is rubbish!

UTTER RUBBISH - AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Utter rubbish! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Unfortunately, I didn't check reviews of this site before I used it but boy, I wish I did!

Unless you are a travelling circus and intend to buy oversized, poorly made clown clothes and wait a month for your order... AVOID THIS SCAM SITE!

Similar to the experience of a majority of other reviewers, that I guess were not paid to right false reviews, this site lured me in with it's professional, accurate and clean looks, showing presentable clothing at good prices, and boasting "hassle free returns" and quick delivery. Unfortunately, after placing your order and receiving email order confirmation (similar to legitimate sites selling quality clothing), the game is over and you've lost!

- I was promised delivery within a week. This actually took closer to four weeks to arrive.
- Tracking method was awful, showing that the package hadn't left Asia for weeks and offering no ETA.
- THE ITEM WAS TERRIBLE! There was no quality to the item whatsoever and only resembled the item advertised in that it was a very cheap, unskilled attempt to replicate the advertised item.
- Sizing was all off, it was oversized - closer resembling a clown suit and the elasticated bottoms of the "suit" looked more like crap quality pyjama bottoms than items of clothing that any sane or respectable individual would ever where anywhere (including inside of a dark room without any windows or light source).
- HASSLE FREE RETURNS - DO NOT EXIST WITH THIS COMPANY! As soon as I opened the clown suit (when it finally arrived), I didn't even recognise it as the suit shown on the website, the colour was more of an ill-baby poo brown colour than the smart green that I ordered and the quality was awful! Needless to say, I immediately contacted the company via email, making it very clear that I wanted a hassle free refund.

Within a few days, I received a pleasantly worded email with a thick overtone of surprise, stating that they were sorry to hear that I wasn't happy with my order and that I should send a video or photograph of the products for them to try to "resolve" the issue to my satisfaction. I did this and they sent me another email, stating that I could keep the clown suit, and offering me either a 20% refund, or 50% store credit. The alternative is that I should pay for posting and taxes for the clown suit to be returned to Asia. Costs estimated between £60-70.
I followed up by sharing a picture of the clown suit and took the opportunity to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the offers made, as the product was highly sub-standard and not at all resembling the product that was advertised on the website. I also called the company out for the fact that a £60-70 returns policy was hardly "hassle free". I also mentioned that either a more satisfactory returns offer should be made or that I would make a report to Trading Standards (that they most likely know will do sweet FA) and that I would add a full and frank review of my experience of them, their false promises, and their shoddy merchandise online.

I received a response from them ignoring my constructive observations or suggestions of an alternative resolution and merely reiterating the same offer.

I returned an email stating that I was not happy with this, but if this is the best they could offer, I would proceed with the best level of refund they could offer. I have no confidence that I will receive any refund and hope that this review (on top of the long list of others) prevents this scam company from getting another penny out of any more victims.

In summary?
Herwick is a scam - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! There are better and more enjoyable ways to waste your money! If I could leave a minus star rating, I would rate this company as minus 5 out of minus 5.

How could this company be improved?
By going broke and the UK government imposing strict penalties on this type of scam company from being able to operate any longer in the UK. Particularly under the guise of a .co.uk website.

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting. I’ve seen a review stating they would give zero stars if an option. I completely agree and wish I had researched this company before ordering. The dress I ordered was really late arriving. When it did arrive, not only was it the wrong item but the quality was shocking for a £50 dress. When I contacted them with proof of the incorrect order, they replied stating that my photo shows the correct item was delivered and if I returned it, it would cost me £60. I am not accepting this and am still in discussions with them about them covering the return costs. Had it been a nice dress, I might consider the options of a partial refund or money off my next order, but the quality is worse than a £5 dress you’d buy from a market stall and so I’m never using this company again. AVOID!!!!!

Fraud company

Don't buy products from this company, they are frauds. They will never refund your money. They have been promising to refund for past 3 months but I never received my refund.

Do not trust them

Do not trust them. The shoes were of really poor quality and didn't fit. But they wanted to charge me 50 Euros to return them....more than the shoes cost.

Faulty goods - refused to pay return costs

Do not buy from this company.
I received a pair of shoes that were at least a whole size too small. So, 'unfit for the purpose for which they were bought' in UK consumer law. This means that the company should reimburse me AND arrange free return mail for the item.
Instead of honouring this the company said that mailing cost was on me, but that import taxes would be high and why didn't I just accept a 50% voucher for my next purchase from them. I repeatedly asserted that this violated my legal rights but this got me nowhere.
I have now raised this as a formal dispute with my credit card company.

Avoid This Company – Do Not Buy from Herwick.co.uk

I placed an order on 25 August, and it has been a disaster from the start. After waiting two weeks, the first parcel arrived with one item missing. I was then told the item was out of stock, but Herwick refused to refund me for something I had already paid for. Only after multiple emails did they finally issue a refund.
However, they completely ignored my repeated questions about the missing item. After sending 23 emails, the rest of the order eventually arrived in two separate deliveries, but the experience was far from over.
Their customer service is nonexistent. I was contacted by someone claiming to be the co-founder “Sophie” asking for feedback, but the email bounced back, clearly a fake gesture. I’ve asked for a full refund and return instructions eight times, and each time they’ve ignored me.
I’ve now reported the company to my credit card provider and Online Trading Standards.
To make matters worse, I was told it would cost me a significant amount in return shipping and tax to send the items back, despite their website claiming “hassle-free returns.” The products themselves are of poor quality, not as advertised, and the sizing is entirely off a “Small” wouldn’t even fit a child.
I am currently £308 out of pocket.
This company is misleading customers, violating UK consumer laws, and deliberately avoiding refunds by offering discounts instead of refunds. One staff member, “Emma,” was particularly rude and unhelpful.
⚠️ Do not fall victim to Herwick.co.uk. They claim to be a UK-based company, but their practices are anything but legitimate. This is the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had.
I will continue to update this review as the situation develops.

They sent me a low-quality, poorly made sweater. Given that they advertised 'hassle-free returns', I had peace of mind.

They sent me the following email (for a 30 GBP sweater) - NOT HELPFUL.

🚨 SCAM ALERT

🚨 SCAM ALERT – Do NOT Trust This Company

This company is completely fake and dishonest. I ordered clothes, and what I received was nothing like the pictures
online – cheap, ugly material with no receipt, no tax, nothing official at all.

I returned everything, and they confirmed they received my parcel. Since then, I’ve been waiting for my refund. Every time I contact them, they repeat the same line: “Your refund is in process, it will go into your account.” But nothing ever arrives. They never give a clear timeframe – just endless false promises.

It’s been over a month, and still no refund.

This company plays with people’s money and lies to customers. Please don’t trust them and don’t spend your hard-earned money here.

If I don’t see my refund in my account now, I will have no choice but to report them to the fraud department.
