Excellent product, great customer service, fast delivery, easy to install and to download the app on my phone. After a small technical fault with the transformer, a replacement was sent out straight away.

I made my order on Thursday where it clearly states it is a next day delivery with DPD, which meant that it would have been delivered on Friday. On Friday I stayed in all day and nothing happened.

It is now Sunday, and there is still no sign of delivery, nor the items I've ordered are on their way. Apparently something is wrong at DPD as the tracking says the parcel was dropped off but it just got stuck there for days. And Hey!, as the sender, clearly lacks readiness to follow up on my delivery.

There is no telephone line and chats are shut during weekends at Hey meaning I have to wait for next Monday to hopefully receive a reply.

To hey: I didn't pick DPD to send my item, this is the courier you've chosen and if they mess up, it is your job to proactively follow up to make sure they deliver to my address on time. I really shouldn't need to come to you to remind you of my parcel that has never delivered. If I didn't chase you and DPD are you just gonna let my items sit at wherever it is at? Hey?!

Bought internal cameras, motion sensors, doorbell, power switch, light switch and contact sensor.
The products themselves are carefully packaged and come with a nice note too which is a great touch. The internal cameras come with a mem card which will record for 2 days straight. The motion and contact sensors do exactly what they need to do. The doorbell is great and has multiple rings from the included plug in ringer.
The App is good but there are some flaws with light and the internal cameras but spoke to customer services and they were very attentive and couldn't help more.
It is much cheaper than other alternatves but it allows me to control the lights, turn off power sockets, check no one is moving around, look at the cameras and answer the doorbell all from one app , all this can be setup and schedules can be used and that is using a wireless router with 4g so you don't need great internet speed to use it.

It just works. Got the smart socket, works flawlessly, app is good. No complaints.

Avoid this Company like the plague!
External cameras do not last 2-3 months, they last 3 days and need charging again! Then this Company tells you that you need to achieve 80% wifi (not stated on website). I achieve good wifi, its just an excuse. Then the best of it is, they wont refund you in full unless its a fault!
Reported to Trading Standards..... Paypal are dealing with all 4 orders of mine. This Company is a scam! AVOID!

Unfortunately the products are inconsistent and frustrating. I have bought 3 GU10 bulbs and a motion sensor. 1 bulb was faulty which was replaced very quickly and easily but overall the products are difficult to connect and inconsistent. A good example is that when I try to connect all the bulbs I get an error with one but the others connect ok. So I try again and and get an error with another one that connected ok before and the 1 that wouldn’t connect before connects ok. This goes round in circles and after 2 hours I managed to get all connected but 1 refuses to respond to the app even though it’s displayed ok in the app. So I try again and you’ve guessed it, the same issues with with different bulbs!! Not sure if they are underdeveloped or not fit for purpose but unfortunately I can’t recommend the product even if the customer service is good.

Ordered a camera and a door bell recently due to moving into my first home and wanting a bit of safety! Cameras brilliant, door bells brilliant. Great customer service!

I ordered the doorbell & security camera package, it came super quick and the packaging was great. I had a slight issue with the doorbell not working but Lewis & the team made sure it was dealt with super quickly and got me a replacement out which now works perfectly along with the security camera. The picture quality is the best and installation was so easy. Can't wait to purchase more products from Hey!

Only reason I've given 4 stars is that I had faulty items, the customer service was impeccable. Being in a managerial position within the customer service environment, it was a great to have tailored responses and a real human at the other end giving due care and attention to the issues I have experienced. Big shout out to Lewis!

Ordered a Motion sensor which arrived Promptly as promised but one of the clips that hold the sensor in place had broken in transit and was stuck inside the device.
Got in touch with them via Email and was sorted out a replacement same day by Lewis. Top customer service, will be using again for all my smart home needs!

Great service from HEY , I have the door bell and internal camera and both do a fantastic job, I would highly recommend.

I brought the Doorbell and like others have mentioned, the battery life is abysmal. The best I have got is 2 weeks. To make matters worse on 2 occasions the battery to a couple of hours before it would allow me to reconnect to the app.

When I reported the terrible battery life, I was told it needs a signal of 90 (mine was 60-70) for me to get decent battery life. I wasn’t getting 90 with it sitting next to my router.

When I reported the issue of the delay to connect to the app Hey told me “well it’s working now”.

If you want a doorbell that looks pretty on your door but barely serve the purpose it is intended, then get this doorbell. Otherwise get something else.

I moved into a new house without existing doorbell wires, and was eager to get a battery powered video doorbell.

All the different Ring options seemed excessively expensive, especially considering they didn’t come with a chime.

I came across the Hey! doorbell by chance and decided to give it a try.

Delivery was lightning fast and the packaging was great. The box contains everything you need to fix the doorbell to the wall. Installation was a breeze, as was setting up the device in the app. I was also really happy that it comes bundled with a chime.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. It’s crystal clear, and even holds up well in the dark. The motion sensor works really well and has adjustable sensitivity settings. Really useful in the summer for making sure it isn’t set off every 5 minutes by bees!

Overall really happy with my purchase. I have since bought some of the smart bulbs and I am equally happy with those!

Quick easy, and good value products.

Upon email prompt from Hey, and knowing the old review may be superseded: I must say, this company have got it right. I just started with one motion sensor, and was able to integrate that into the existing house wi-fi. It's a simple technology done really really well: a sensor, a wifi transceiver and power from batteries (just what I needed, no wires !); but, the value Hey add is amazing. And brilliant. The iPhone app works really well, the sensor quality is great. Ok Hey, I need you to make some more products: considering the sensor as an input device, I need a similar light as an output: battery, wi-fi, light - come on, you've done all the basics already. Sorry if I've missed it, but I need some good IFTTT recipes. I wish all the best to this company, it deserves great success - things are rarely done so well.

Good price, but too large for what I wanted it for, also having to mess about with the WiFi settings when I've not had to do that with any other smart bulbs I have.
Won't be buying from Hey again.

Overall a bit disappointed! Ordered 2 x outdoor cameras and 1 x video doorbell.
Setup was easy and so was the installation but I quickly noticed that one outdoor camera and the video doorbell batteries were lasting about 3-4 days before needing to be recharged.
I spoke to the support who said that it was probably caused by the distance the camera and doorbell were from the wifi AP’s.
So I am currently using Google nest wifi in my home and have very good coverage indeed even when sitting my garden so I wasn’t convinced this was the problem. However I bought two reasonably priced TP Link Wifi extenders and placed these at closest power outlets to the cameras. The cameras reported wifi strength up from 35% to over 70%. I was next told to check PIR settings which were set to low and since then support has gone quiet.
Over the course of one evening and night the doorbell battery went from 80% to 40% !!!! What doesn’t help is that they take over 3-4 hours to charge.
The 2nd outdoor camera has been online for 2 weeks now and still reporting 100% battery which is great but no convinced this is actually true.
Also the cloud storage has to be bought for each individual device, no option to make on purchase that covers all of your devices! This makes it become quite expensive if you increase the number of cameras!
I understand that these are lower budget devices but if the battery life is this poor then they are not fit for purpose.
Buy with extreme caution!
