The bidding process was very good - smooth, no issues or errors. Trying to obtain a list of items by Category is a challenge. Two reasons: 1. the system doesn't "hold" the Location I select. It goes b... See more

Terra Firma not disclosing mineral rights in auctions

Terra Firma foreclosures @ tfauctions.com auctioning off land specifically in Colorado SHOULD be required to disclose if the sale of land includes mineral rights. There statement on the auctions: If you are UNCLEAR on ANY aspects of ownership of real property, MRO (Mineral Rights), SRO (Surface Rights) or purchase thereof, it is RECOMMENDED that you SEEK LEGAL ADVICE before registering or bidding. I've contacted an attorney in Colorado and he stated he is willing to represent any future transactions with Terra Firma and HiBid. It would take an attorney do perform an extensive search especially if the last activity on a silver mine was 20 years ago.

it was great until we got around the end. I was betting against somebody and they wanted it as much as me, but when I got to the one minute mark left in the auction,I didn't understand why it took so long and I had a hard time to bid

Smooth, Organized, and So Easy to Use!

I recently won several bids through Taylor Real Estate & Auction and had such a great experience from start to finish. Everything was incredibly organized when we arrived for pickup, which made the entire process quick, easy, and completely stress-free. The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly had everything running efficiently.

I also really enjoy using HiBid because the platform makes it simple to find items, register, and place bids. The whole process is very user-friendly, even if you’re newer to online auctions.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience and definitely reminded me why I love online auctions so much. I’ll absolutely continue bidding with them in the future!

I had five closed auctions thru Guns…

I had five closed auctions thru Guns and Gear close 24 hours ago. I didnt see them process and I reached out to them. Then this afternoon I see them go from closed to live again with 1 day of bidding still available. Frankly it is BS. I have used this site many times and this is the first time something like this has happened.

No title

I missed a couple lots I had bid on. The countdown was at the top, then the middle. So things was moving up then disappearing as the middle was also.
It would be nice to just watch the top.
As with this present auction that just ended, whomever the owner/controller of the items . . WHY start a bid so high? Notice many things didn't sell, so that should have told you something.
And where did you get your starting price? So, don't put anything in the auction you don't want to get rid of. Your items "say new" but people like me are not taking your word. Price drops on everything, about half of new, then you lower the price. You may get a "new item price" and good luck on your next one.
It really was not fun, just stressful. But keep trying.

Buyer fee

I really am bothered by the concept of the 15 per cent buyer's fee. Just because prestige auctions may charge a buyer's fee, doesn't mean HiBid should do so. Lots upon which I bid are always for resale and not for personal collections, and that fee can easily make resale impractical. I would have pushed higher on several other lots were it not for this factor.😧

Online auctions review

Online auctions allow me to privately review and bid. Some auctioneers need to review and take more photos but most do pretty good on most lots.

Thoughts

Lots of lag still. Also don’t like auctioneers can see the highest bid you have and they potentially run you up in various ways. Also if an auction house can block customers We should be able to block them and also leave feedback for them like they do buyers. Some way for buyers to defend themselves against auction companies who leave neg feedback against then that is totally incorrect misleading other auction houses and smearing your reputation as a buyer for others to read and for them to assume it’s correct with no way to explain otherwise. Last year I had around 5000 auction wins which does not include lost lots that were bid on. We need something in place to review and easily download past auctions and not allow auction companies to delete the results from our history to cover up their fraud. Someway to regulate the fees auction houses can charge or allow us to read the disclosure and block them from our searches. We should not have to cross check our list when selecting auction houses to use. Additional auction houses that change names should also be disclosed along with a rating system to alert all buyers. Right now HiBid is being used in many harmful ways by auction houses to manipulate and ripoff buyers and it’s known yet still allowed to continue. I understand it’s a platform and what that means but it’s not neutral ground even. If HiBid would implement some measures to protect not only its customers but also the buyers that also use the platform which substantially outnumbers auction houses crooks
My time buy here will cease 100% without improvements being seen and felt. I took the time, will you?

I did not like the bidding you could not go back and see if you were out bid a thier was not a list to tell you what you were bidding on or winning. Did not know that I won until I got the invoice.
I will not be back to these autions. The user experience sucks.
