Paid Fidelity extra to get the rollover…
Paid Fidelity extra to get the rollover check within 2 business days only for the Capitalize check to come 1.5 weeks after I'd gotten the Fidelity check. By then I'd already gotten the ship-to address and shipped it myself. Was deposited by Brokerage firm 5 days before the Capitalize envelop arrived.
Now have a 2nd rollover and 1st available appointment with Capitalize is almost 2 weeks out.

This is the second time across a three month period that the "team" at capitalize has bungled a simple rollover from a 457 account to my personal IRA. I cannot believe this clown show: tons of email, tons of back and forth, I'm forced to use capitalize by my bank and this is the SECOND time they've sent documents to my 457 plan that are incorrect, incomplete or both--- requiring me to start the rollover process all over again from scratch.
The staffers I've dealt with have been nice but totally incompetent and unable to execute simple tasks-- sending me automated emails pestering me to upload documents I've already uploaded. This is RIDICULOUS.
Capitalize is impossible to contact if you have a problem. This has siphoned HOURS of my time and I wiould not recommend them again.

Confusing and Incomplete Rollover Process
I had a very frustrating experience with Capitalize during my rollover from ADP. After ADP mailed me the rollover checks, Capitalize was supposed to send me envelopes and instructions so I could complete the process. The envelopes never arrived.
I contacted customer support and was told another set would be sent. After those also failed to arrive, I reached out again and was told the shipment was stuck in transit. Despite never receiving any envelopes or sending in my checks, I started receiving notifications stating that my rollover was complete and that the process had been finalized.
At this point, I still have the original checks from ADP in my possession, yet Capitalize is indicating that the rollover has been completed. The communication throughout the process was confusing, and the status updates did not match what was actually happening. Based on my experience, the rollover process was poorly managed and left me with little confidence that my funds were being handled correctly.

i was dreading doing this process across three accounts and not only was scott incredibly pleasent but he held me accountable, gently nudged me along and was really a master class in service. idk if yall give recogntion/awards/merit based awards out, but if you do, worth listening to any call I've had with scott and train new team mates based on his work.

Smooth and Hassle Free 401(k) Transfer
The process of transferring my 401(k) to my IRA was incredibly smooth. I simply entered my information, and they located my account, contacted my former employer, and securely handled the transfer. They mailed me an envelope with tracking information, and once I received the 401(k) check, I placed it inside and mailed it back. Within just a few days, the funds were deposited into my IRA.
I received email updates throughout the entire process, which made everything easy to follow and stress free. The whole experience was simple, convenient, and hassle free. I highly recommend it.
