Moving a 401(k) can feel incredibly daunting, but Capitalize made the entire transition to Facet completely stress-free. The process itself was easy and straightforward. What really stood out, though, was their communication. They kept me informed before the transfer started, gave regular updates during the transaction, and followed up afterward to ensure everything was settled. That level of transparency completely put my mind at ease.

Never trust the middleman. They don't start companies for just charity. That's why I did my research to make sure Capitalize wasn't going to hit me with a hidden fee on a couple of hefty 401K to IRA direct rollovers.

Everything pointed to them being legitimate, so I proceeded with many questions along the way - mostly about their business and ironically less about my money. Turns out I could have done the rollover myself, but I would have been left with the nagging question: "What did I miss?"

The gentleman who helped me (Jake) was there to make sure I knew the process and ensured any questions were answered thoroughly. He conferenced me in on the required phone call (required by my bank - not Capitalize) and I can see where there could be an opportunity by a current bank to talk me into keeping my investments with them, but with Jake as a representative it felt like I had a bodyguard defending me.

So it really sounds like Capitalize offers convenience and peace of mind. Especially for those who aren’t familiar with the process. If you do happen to be familiar at least they do some of the legwork for you. And hopefully your middle-man (or -woman) is as pleasant as Jake was.

They made this process much easier and less confusing. I will use them again.

Our money is as held for weeks upon weeks upon weeks. We called countless times, and no one could tell us much of anything, and just kept pushing the time frame back. It would have been much more effective getting a check disbursed to me and then sending the money in direct. I see why they’re called capitalize - they capitalize on holding your money and earn a nice free ROI.
