Highgrove Gardens & Shop Reviews 

The package has been sitting for nine days on the East Coast Of America. My repeated contacts with DHL delivery service (that you chose) said that they have not been able to get a hold of anyone at Highgrove Gardens. The problem seems to be too fold. Number one the package was not sent with the correct documentation. Number two since no one can be contacted that seems to know where the jam was manufactured the package is going to be returned. I am more than upset and expect a full refund. When I reached out to. HighGrove Garden via email only (no one will answer the phone). I was told that once the package has been returned to the warehouse in England they will start the process to return my money. I’m sorry for a poor review but honestly if you’re going to sell things internationally you think somebody might have a clue as to the paperwork that needed to be included. Paul

Absolutely beautiful china, shipped promptly and packed with the utmost care. I am very happy I made this purchase. Two teacups, and two medium-sized plates, and a sugar bowl. Gorgeous. Quality products.

The only downside was from the US Govt, as they sent a note that I had to pay a large tariff to them before delivery to me. I hope the tariffs either go away or come down in percentages.

The blackcurrant preserves are utterly divine, especially with German butter, on freshly made croissants and scones at the local bakery. The rich consistency, and layered flavors are like a fine cabernet. In the 1980s,I lived and worked at Rothay Manor Hotel in Ambleside. Became close friends with the Nixon family, then proprietors of the lovely property. After returning home to California, the Nixons would mail a jar of their exquisite homemade blackcurrant jam over Christmas holidays for many years. While not made with love, like the Nixons' jam, the outstanding Highgrove preserves are a delightful reminder of the Nixons, and their bountiful offering.

Great day out. The gardens were beautiful and the guided tour was amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable and the tour itself was perfectly timed. I loved the vegetable garden, could have spent all day there.

Afternoon tea was lovely, even for someone who is dairy intolerant!!

My Mum and myself visited the gardens on Saturday on a Bakers Dolphins trip. We arrived an hour ahead of our booked tour meaning we had some time to wait. We headed to the cafe and I asked a waitress if we could have a cup of tea while we waited. I was told yes and to take a seat and she would bring me a menu. I sat waiting with my Mum, while the waitress served other people who arrived after us and didn’t return back, avoiding eye contact. We were eventually offered a cup of tea by another staff member, however by this point we had decided to leave and wait outside for our planned tour to start.
The tour itself and our guide, Gill was wonderful.

Helpful staff lovely products. However not enough staff and some of the products very expensive.

We had were 2 couples but had two different tour times due to the first time being sold out but the Highgrive staff were able to let all 4 of us go on the same tour. That was greatly appreciated 👍👍👍

Easy to order, well packed, fast dispatch- great service.

I ordered a bat box from the Highgrove website. The website is great, the delivery was incredibly fast, and the product is excellent.

The pot is lovely and a nice colour. I’m very pleased with it.

The whole tour and lunch was beautifully organised,everyone made to feel special. The restaurant food was sublime, our guide Paul delightful and charming and so knowledgeable. The shop was beautifully done and all staff charming and courteous.

This was my first visit to Highgrove.
I was very impressed my the personal service of the staff, both in the restaurant and the shop.
Also the guide who took my group ground the garden was exceedingly good and very knowledgable.
The lunch is the restaurant was of the highest stand and delicous.
Items in the shop were varied in price, the displays eye catching and really good value for money.

I came away with much more than l intended.
Looking forward to going again next year.
Certainly recommend a visit to this remarkable garden King Charles has created
