First off the
First off the, the printing in the instruction manual is so ridiculously small. I had to borrow a set of zoom spectacles to be able to read. I don't wear spectacles as my eyesight is very good. 30 minutes of trying to even read what to do didn't help my initial blood pressure reading. I did manage to set it up & caliberate, once I could read the instructions. It has now been 24 hours. The App syncs no problem when I open the APP. "SYN COMPLETE, YOUR UP TO DATE" it says. There have been no readings taken at all in the first 24 hours. I've gone through thre APP & can't find any solution. Tried to contact Hilo & only a BOT available. Asking me to take a picture of the serial number & send it to them as PDF. I can't do that as I am at work & also there's no serial number there just a QR code. My frustration & blood pressure must now stay high at least until after I finish work, but I suspect much longer. Is it too much to ask that when you buy sonething, that you can read the insructions & then it actually works!! This is probably the first review i've ever written, im just fed up of having to spend hours of my life sorting stuff out that shouldn't need sorting, but should work first time. I'll be quite happy to acknowledge if this is sorted quickly & adiquately.

Not Accurate, strange readings
I have been taking blood pressure readings for the last 12- 16 hours using the kit and they have been very high for distolic and systolic reading have been up around 160 sys and 110 dia. It started to give strange readings tonight early morning for no reason and so I calibrated the device band and cuff together which then gave readings of alot lower of 130 sys and 82-76 dia compared to the calibration on Friday morning 12 hours ago. I've taken further 4 cuff readings and all show low blood pressure. Why ????
I am in need of emergency surgery to repair a hernia but surgeans will not operate on me due to my high BP from the last 12 years, I have been to private cardiology investigations recently and accurate Echo scans show I have elevated high distolic BP, proven history of 12 months worth of BP results taken at home with standard cuffs machine plus endless amounts of Dr and hospital BP readings completed all proving very high distolic elevated pressure at 110-122, private cardiologist meeting showing high BP this has been the same high readings now since 2017 hence why I can see this latest reading of low BP is highly inaccurate.
I can not understand why this device has started to show such a huge variance of BP readings. I am so in need of surgery and this was to show what my BP readings are doing over a 12-24 period.
The app is ok you can do independent cuff readings and we'll as you standard wrist band readings but they will be very different.
I'm using a android Xiaomi M10 device.
My concern is why all of sudden my readings have dropped over a large scale when I know they are high.
My decision is to return this kit immediately as I can not rely on it now to give accurate readings to try and get my surgery.
I will not recommend it to others from my experience after just 12-16 hours of use, I think the band and cuff can give very different readings which makes the accuracy even more unpredictable.
And the £69 subscription is a ripoff as it was so not made clear that alot of functions you can not use unless you pay. I'm sorry but is £275 not enough money to charge people to monitor there health For that price it should be included for at least 3-5 years of free use. Money money money greed greed greed, sorry disgusting.
Sorry Hilo really wanted it to work as private specialists are advising people but this kit for BP tracking but for the price of £275 I expect a lot more when my standard BP cuff monitor of £40 has been working very accurately and giving reading accurately several times a day compared to the first 6 hours of using this kit. Do I have low blood pressure or high what is it.
PS Just to add at 6 o'clock my review was written at 7 further insult on this device my readings are now showing very dangerous levels of BP stage 3.
Tried to start the returns via customer services and all I get is Link 404 website closed down screen shot taken so I going to reclaim my money back via the bank.

Over 2 years useage
I have used the HiLo band for over 2 years now. It has proven to be accurate and is superb for trend analysis. In my opinion, it's a great product with awesome customer support. They sorted my issue within 48 hours of reporting it.

I replied accordingly and your technical support confirmed the technical problem and offered a free replacement of my device with detailed information on how to order it and set up.

The monitor was easy to set up and calibrate. It seems very reliable, and is so much easier than taking daily readings manually. It is really easy to generate a report to send my GP for whatever period he wants rather than the handwritten list of a fortnight of readings.
I found the supplied strap a little tight. I contacted customer support who responded within two days, over christmas and arranged a larger replacement free of charge.

Has potential, however they hide your readings behind a paywall and require you to pay a monthly premium to get access to your own data. Unfortunately, and owed to this, I simply cannot justifiably recommending to others for such an expensive product.

Great customer service.
As always they are very helpful in sorting out any problems and are supplying a replacement, which also happens to be an upgrade.
As an original backer I can't fault their customer service!
Jan 26 update Jan 10 Useless warranty...Recalibrated as instructed still not syncing as promised
Jan 26 finally received free replacement under warranty. Hope this one works for more than 1 month? Update Jan 10: still nothing received from technical team so still useless warrantee...no replacement no refund. Disappointed but only option now is Visa chargeback.
Took exactly 48 hours to get useless reply telling me to recalibrate and then it would sync but it didn't! Dec 24th Sent them screenshots as proof. Replied Dec. 24th opened an internal request for our technical team to further investigate your case.
We will get back to you as soon as possible! Jan. 10th no further replies from customer support!
I had reinstalled app and paired band and cuff several times and app won't sync. Worked OK only for first month so can't return now! I'm in Ireland not in Canada! ??
Very disappointed...age 82 with serious heart problems! So have to use galaxy8 watch.

The expense of ordering a new strap
I previously left a 5 star review for as I have high blood pressure & enjoy using this product.
However, the initial strap supplied was too short and eventually split as it is poor quality. I was staggered to have to pay £35 for a new strap (but suspect it might be better quality)
