Excellent Product
Customer Services have been really helpful once they got back to me, took several days. The Hilo band is now working perfectly & exactly what I need to monitor my BP. Giving excellent results to pass on to my GP. My only tip is if you can’t get the calibration to work, switch the band to the other wrist & the cuff to the opposite one.
Now extremely happy & I believe this is a brilliant product and a sound investment
Excellent customer service
When I contacted support because my Hilo was no longer holding its charge, they reponded promptly and after clarifying a couple of points, issued a free replacement under the warranty. I am very pleased with how they dealt with the issue.
Responded quickly to my request to reset

DON’T BOTHER UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO SUBSCRIBE.
Well I received the HiLo band and was quite pleased with the results, and there were many. I bought the device to be able to check my blood pressure at anytime. Well the first month was really good. Unfortunately I was NOT told that if you aren’t going to subscribe to HiLo then it is a piece of plastic sitting around and only 3 times a month can you test your blood pressure. If I had been told this, I would not have purchased the Hilo Band. Please be warned.

Asch
I could monitor the trend of my blood according to medication and daily activities. Really satisfied with it.
Okay, but poor support and not really useful
The device seems to work. Odd and awkward that it is fitted with obsolete USB connectors (A and Micro) rather than USB C. Help is frustrating - a bot that offers very limited options and poor, vague instructions (eg "access the device menu" - but how?! Before eventually offering email contact at some vaguely specified time in the future (days at least, if not weeks). As far as I can tell, even the basic functionality requires a £70 a year subscription after the first year of use. If that's the case, I won't be paying. Perhaps if you have certain heart conditions measurements every couple of hours are useful. But I think for most people using an ordinary sphygmometer every now and do then would be just as good and much cheaper.

Easy to set up and use and simple to monitor blood pressure without constantly having to use an arm cuff.

Amazing... my health care team loves it!
Ordering was easy and the processing was fast. The actual delivery was 4-stars (UPS didn't bother to ring the doorbell, just left it on the porch and notified by email). The instructions were clear and the band is very comfortable. The data and the reports are amazing; my health care team loves it!
so far Meh ...still questing accuracy
User manual to small print to read, should be available online or have links , QR code, cuff charger old tech USB Micro should be USB-C don't like subscription options set up not 100% clear as with charging and how to use the app

Very disappointed with this item
Very disappointed with this item. Bought for a parent to help with fluctuating blood pressure poorly controlled with medication.
It doesn’t take measurements if you are moving, so not compatible with daily life. I have tried to return it, but have been told there is only a 30day window for returns so now stuck with a very expensive defunct item.
Don’t waste your money

Great non-invasive and accurate blood pressure monitor!
Excellent medical device for monitoring blood pressure. Unlike the cuffs, the bracelet reflects accurate trends, rather than the first highly misleading value often obtained with cuff measurements. Interesting following the depletion effects of concentration of medication on pressure values during the day and night depending on what time the tablets are taken. This bracelet is non-invasive showing up fascinating trends in each 24 hours. One word of warning, every other day clean back of wrist and monitor with moist cloth to prevent day-to day trace chemicals - such as cleaning fluids, accumulating between the two surface: that way you’ll avoid any skin intolerance or allergy that could lead to an inflammation replicating the shape of the back of the sensor.
The Hilo device is not fit for purpose
The device is not fit for purpose. It has stopped recording blood pressure readings. We’ve repeatedly attempted to contact Hilo without success. The bracelet has failed after less than a month. Customer support is nonexistent, it’s impossible to speak to someone.

Excellent product, even better customer service
I had some issues finding the correct wristband charger and, after leaving a 3* review was contacted by customer support and the issue was rectified. Excellent service!
I've had my hilo band for around a year with no problems. Only needed a replacement charger as I'd lost the original one.
Customer Support
I needed to replace a charger and cable after unfortunately losing it on a trip abroad. I did have some issues initially with contacting the Support Team via their website (perhaps due to a technical glitch?)). However, having made contact today to their support email, I have had a direct call from Switzerland within a couple of hours. They offered not just a charger/cable at my expense, but a free replacement of the complete unit under warranty as, having accessed my monitor remotely, the battery on the unit was found to be malfunctioning. I am very impressed that Hilo flagged this problem unprompted. The replacement unit is already ordered and on it's way. Thank you Hilo Team for resolving this in such a positive way.

The device is comfortable to wear
The device is comfortable to wear all the time (it was a concern of mine). The delivery was delivered well packed. The instruction book is tiny - but available on line and the guidance is excellent. The website said delivery in 5 - 7 days but it took longer so I got a bit concerned.

There is conflicting advice noted between the differing documentation, supporting the device. For example:
Contraindications (from Manual G1-IP68)
The Hilo Band IS NOT INTENDED to be used :
on patients suffering from sustained cardiac arrhythmias that can lead to weak or unstable pressure pulses including tachycardia
(heart rate at rest greater than 120bpm) and atrial fibrillation;
on patients suffering from pathologies that systematically reduce peripheral perfusion including Raynaud’s disease, diabetes, renal dysfunctions
(eGFR less than 60mL - min - 1.73 m2), hyper or hypothyroidism, pheochromocytoma or arteriovenous fistula;
on pregnant women;
on damaged - injured skin;
on patients below 21 y.o. and above 85 y.o.

(Website - support page - contraindications)
The Hilo Products are NOT INTENDED to be used:

on patients suffering from pathologies that systematically reduce peripheral perfusion including Raynaud’s disease, diabetes, renal dysfunctions (eGFR less than 30mL - min - 1.73 m2), untreated hyper or hypothyroidism, pheochromocytoma, or arteriovenous fistula;
on pregnant women;
amputated upper limb;
on patients below 21 years old and above 85 years old
When seeking clarification, especially with the eGFR and hyper - hypothyroidism differences - the Web chat took too long. The initial response just listed the contraindications noted on the web page as opposed to the manuals.
So still waiting for a response seeking clarification.
I'm not saying that the Customer support is bad, but it is slow. The band looks great and can be so useful, but if it is providing inaccurate information (due to not being suitable for an individual, but results being relied upon by that same individual), could reduce reliability and potentially be dangerous.
The website and manuals should contain or relay the same details for contraindications of use.

Great customer service
After writing a poor review the customer service team got in touch and sorted out the technical issue with the band and have also tried to fix the 'contact us' button on their website.
I have been impressed with both their attitude and their commitment to resolving the problem and their concern for their customer. Thank you.
