Greedy and cheap …
I would have so much liked to rave about the food, the location and the service! But all my pleasant memories have been erased by a very unpleasant "handling fee" for lost and found items, which the hotel forced me to pay online through a fake-service called FAUNDIT. I do not mind at all paying the full UPS shipping fee to my home address, after having forgotten my computer charger back at some hotel! What I do mind though, are greedy hotel managers (and their collaborating profiteers!) who will double this shipping price by inventing some imaginary service fee for a common decency that should be self-evident, especially at a four star hotel.
IN REACTION TO THE HOTEL MANAGER'S ANSWER:
Your answer sums up in a nutshell the low level of service, sincerity and work ethics, that customers can expect at Hindsgavl! Your fake service brings no whatsoever gain for the customer - neither in terms of time or costs. The only people who profit, are FAUNDIT and money-pinching hotel managers who force their customers to do a customary service job (which quality hotels include in their normal charge) all by themselves and then to pay an additional fee, for the mere "privilege" of it!
