Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. However, we must respectfully disagree with the claims you’ve made, as your comment does not fully reflect what actually happened with your order.

We take misinformation seriously, especially when it may mislead readers or damage our reputation unfairly. For transparency, here are the facts:
• Your order #HCIN1417924200 was placed and paid successfully.
• It was shipped to Hungary on August 14.
• It arrived in Hungary on August 20 and was handed over to Hungarian Customs.
• Customs held the parcel for 25 days and ultimately marked it as “Import Terminated” on September 15.
• It was then returned to us on September 24.

As per our clearly displayed Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy, we issue partial refunds for returned shipments. You accepted these terms at checkout before finalizing your purchase.

• Shipping fee (non-refundable): -€22
• Refund processing fee: -€2
• Payment gateway fee: -€2

It’s important to understand that shipping fees are never refundable, as they are paid directly to the courier when the parcel leaves our facility. This is standard practice worldwide.

You stated:

“Even though I got the permission from the delivery company that it was their fault.”

This is factually incorrect. All shipping and customs declaration documents were correctly completed including the product name, quantity, and description as tobacco. If you would like, we can provide these documents to you.

If you had contacted us before posting your review, we would have gladly explained all of this with evidence.

We noticed that you updated your review 42 minutes ago. Based on your updated comment;

“If anyone is interested, I can send the original answer from the Hungarian authorities that the company was unreachable…”

However, as we clearly mentioned in our email to you:
We were never contacted by Hungarian Post. Had they tried, we would have responded immediately.

Furthermore, if the sender (us) was supposedly unreachable for 20 days, why didn’t the post office contact you, the recipient? Your contact information was also provided on the parcel. This raises a separate question that remains unanswered by Hungarian Customs.

This appears to be an isolated and rare issue, as we’ve shipped to Hungary hundreds of times without any problem. That’s why we respectfully believe this was not due to any fault of ours, but rather a procedural matter within Hungarian Customs.

We suggest that you raise this question with your local post office or customs office:

“If the sender was unreachable, why didn’t you try contacting the recipient?”

We always aim to serve with fairness and transparency. Publicly blaming our company for an issue beyond our control especially after receiving a refund as per policy is unfortunate.

As you know, your order was dispatched from our Japan Store to your address in Romania on 8 August and arrived in Romania on 16 August. On the same day, it was submitted to Romanian customs. However, on 19 August, it was marked as “Import Stopped” and placed under Return to Sender status. By 26 August, it had already been returned to us.

As you are aware, each country has different customs regulations. In Romania, about 50% of our customers receive their orders without issues, while for others, Romanian Customs sometimes requests payment of import duties before release. In certain cases, shipments are returned directly, as in your situation. These outcomes are entirely due to the different local customs rules regarding tobacco and tobacco-related products imported from abroad.

You mentioned that our website contains critical information in “small print.” However, we must firmly state that this is not true. Our entire website uses a single font size and style, with no hidden text or fine print. We kindly invite you to revisit our website and review the content more carefully before making such claims.

Regarding your accusation that the customs declaration was incorrectly filled: This is also incorrect. As clearly stated on our website, all products are declared accurately and transparently in accordance with the origin country’s customs regulations. In your case, since the product contained tobacco, it was properly declared using the local language term “Rokok.” No false or misleading information was provided, and we have also sent you all shipping documents via email to prove this.

Dear Oscar,

First, we would like to point out that you already submitted a review regarding this order on June 30, and we provided you with a detailed response at that time. Posting the same complaint again as a new review appears to be a deliberate attempt to lower our store’s star rating, and we find this to be a conscious and unfair action.

To reiterate what we explained earlier:

According to PostNL records, your order was delivered on June 27.

Although you claim that the parcel was not received, no investigation can be opened with PostNL once the item is marked as delivered. This is a standard rule set by postal services, not by us.

Furthermore, as clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions, investigations cannot be opened for international shipments containing tobacco or tobacco-related products. You agreed to these terms when placing your order.

That said, if you are able to provide an official signed document from PostNL stating that the parcel was lost or stolen, we will gladly forward it to our postal partner and arrange a replacement shipment. However, we cannot take action based solely on verbal claims without any evidence.

We believe that posting a second negative review in this manner is not a reflection of any failure on our part but rather an unfair and disrespectful approach towards our brand.

First of all, thank you for your feedback. However, we regret to inform you that the comment you posted does not reflect the truth.

Our system shows that you have posted two different comments from your account, but both are nearly identical in content (copy–paste). This gives the impression that you are intentionally trying to lower our company rating, which is considered unethical behavior.

You also stated that you tried to contact us and received no response. However, our records show that we sent you a detailed email on April 25. In that message, we clearly pointed out that you had not previously contacted us, despite claiming otherwise publicly, and we informed you that a refund would be issued once your order was returned to us. Unfortunately, you did not reply to that email.

The comment you posted today also does not accurately reflect the situation. Our tracking records confirm that your order was marked as “Return to Sender”, and a refund has already been issued after the return was completed.
