I twice had to deal with 2 very unhelpful and unfriendly staff
I twice had to deal with 2 very unhelpful and unfriendly staff at CSL main Causeway Bay shop. When first time I reported a broken router and asked for a new one he tried to make me renew my contract early in return for a new router. When I wouldn’t he became unfriendly and said I would have to wait 2 weeks for a new router - a little bit trying to blackmail me into signing a new contract. I resolved the matter by seeing another staff next day and an emailed complaint.
Then a few months later after I ended my contract I was due a small refund. After 2 inquiries I still hadn’t received it so I visited the same Causeway Bay shop. The impolite staff member was clearly annoyed at my reason for going there, pointed to a phone and told me to call a number. I told him to do it for me which made him more annoyed. He dialled the number and walked off leaving me to wait several minutes for someone to answer. The matter was resolved after I made another complaint. But the behaviour of that staff member was unacceptably and I regret I did not get his name.
3 years earlier when I signed up with CSL at their Mongkok Branch I was a bit misled. I thought I was just buying a new router but found myself in a 3 year contract that I couldn’t get out of.
