Great online service with provider

HMSA has always provided great coverage for my family's medical needs. Although their rates are high, I
feel it is worth it.

the last thing anyone wants to do when they're feeling sick or having a health issue is try and call around for an appointment, which is almost impossible to get, even at urgent care. having this online resource helps when you need to know if it's something serious enough to go to the ER for or whether you can wait a few days for your primary care doctor. i'm so glad that the medical field is embracing technology to reach more people in this way.

Also very helpful during flu season when you don't want to wait in a germy doctor's office.

Didn't have to leave home to see a doctor and wait in a waiting room. Especially hate that when I'm feeling sick.

I have personally found it to be challenging at times to look for a provider. While you have an impressive number of providers contracted, when called, the majority of those providers either do not accept your type of insurance plan (Medicare), or are not accepting new patients. It might be beneficial to conduct a regular audit of your provider network To determine the actual number available to subscribers. It's possible that there's a need for providers open to establishing their patient loads accepting new patients, or Medicare recipients.

This service was fast, easy, and convenient for me. I truly appreciated the benefit of getting medical advise in the comfort of my own home! They were able to send my medical note and prescriptions online too! This really pushes us into the new age of health care.

HMSA online care was very convenient, especially for a busy person like me. It is not always possible to "fit" in a doctor's appointment in "their" schedule.
