Hodlnaut is dishonest and manipulative
I think that Hodlnaut is dishonest and doesn't care about their customers. Let me explain why.
First, they baited us in buying Luna/UST by lowering the interest of the cryptos, and introducing Luna/UST at the same time. It's even in the same email, just a line after saying they lowered the rates!
These are the new rates and tiers that users will earn interest in starting from 19 April 2022 (GMT+8).

In other news, we would like to inform everyone that we have started supporting TWO new crypto assets today!
You can now earn interest up to 13.86% APY on UST and 6.71% APY on LUNA with our open-term deposits. To earn even higher interest rates on UST and LUNA, you can opt for our fixed-term deposits. Not sure about what is UST and LUNA? Check out our dedicated article here!
Second, they never communicated properly on the Luna/UST, they just waited the last moment to say that they will suspend withdrawals by tomorrow and that they have no clue if they/we will receive anything.
Finally, they said 2 days ago that:
If you would like to ensure your eligibility for the airdrop, you could make a withdrawal from Hodlnaut to a Terra Station wallet via the Terra network.
So I asked them to terminate my fixed deposit, they said they wouldn't give me my interests. But in today's email, they say: All current Fixed Term Deposits on LUNA and UST will be terminated with immediate effect. The principal sum and the full interest of the Fixed Term Deposits will be credited into the affected users’ Hodlnaut accounts before 26 May 2022, 5PM (GMT +8).
That means that I'm screwed once again... Because they don't know how to communicate properly, they don't want to give me my interests.
You are not better than Terra/Do Kwon. I hope you'll get sued too.

To be very clear with you, your decision to terminate your Fixed Deposit was of your own choosing in which the Terms & Conditions have clearly stated that you will choose to forfeit your interests earned due to early termination.
Additionally, several disclaimers were required of our platform to be placed on the website and even before you register for an account to understand the risks of investing in cryptocurrency, in which you can find the disclaimer at the bottom of our website here.
With regards to Hodlnaut's listing of LUNA and UST, sufficient due diligence is required on our end to be conducted as per our obligations to the authorities to assess the risk of listing new assets and networks, and the past few weeks of events were unfortunate and an unlikely event that happened - in which Hodlnaut has already put forth its risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the best interest of the users. Withdrawals have NEVER been restricted all this while, and users could still withdraw their UST via Wormhole UST, and Luna via Terra and Wormhole.
By the way, if you have read the announcement carefully, you will notice the withdrawals are TEMPORARILY suspended, until tomorrow, 27 May 2022, 9AM (GMT + 8), in time for the airdrop snapshot.
As compared to other platforms, they do not allow for early termination of Fixed Deposits from the users, but we have done so because we empathise with their losses and fully understand that users have been affected by the events of LUNA/UST and would like to liquidate holdings as quickly as they can.
In the T&Cs, if it is termination on OUR end, we could have chosen not to give users back the full interest due to our Terms of Service here, Point 9.1, but we have decided to do so in our users' best interest.
With regards to the airdrop, feel free to contact other platforms, but even they have no clue on how the airdrop is going to work, but our communication to our users is us assuring them that the airdrop would be passed to them, even though we gave no guarantees from the beginning.

As you can see in the timeline above, these are the important pointers that we have continuously enabled all users to make decisions with regard to their funds:
- Termination of FTDs of their own choosing (in which they can continue to have it with us still)
- Withdrawals for LUNA/UST still enabled via Wormhole all this while until today's announcement
Would you be able to advise on 'better communications' here? We would like to take this feedback to improve further in the event something like this happens again.
Stating that we are hiding behind a ToS is unfortunately untrue. We have consistently made it extremely clear to our users via disclaimers and constant reminders to take note of the Terms that we have.
