Holiday Inn has been nothing short of a nightmare. We have been trying to come to some form of agreement with them for almost three years now, but they have never once indicated that they would be able to help us. The timeshare agreement has been a total failure to deliver on the promised premium luxury and availability. We consistently found places like Myrtle Beach unavailable, and when we did travel, the experience was substandard. In Williamsburg, the staff treatment did not meet the promised level of customer service, and in Panama City, the property conditions were terrible, including a nearly broken elevator, with all reported issues being met only with empty promises. Furthermore, despite being timeshare owners, we were charged fees every time we tried to make reservations. These fees were either nonrefundable small charges for failed bookings or larger charges that only resulted in a points refund, meaning we have never received any money back. When I finally called to cancel the timeshare, the representatives were dismissive and laughed at me. After reaching out to their management company, I was given the contact for Nicole Myers, but she has not responded to my numerous calls or emails. All we want is to speak with someone who can help us cancel this nightmare contract, which is a sham that has failed to deliver on its promises. We are not even asking for a refund; we just want to be done with Holiday and the stress they are causing our family.
Veteran absolutely Unhappy. The contractual bind is proving to be a…
The contractual bind is proving to be a significant financial burden, and the lack of cooperation with Holiday Inn , is only compounding or difficulties. Reflecting on this prolonged and unresolvable struggle, there is a prolonged sense of regret. We sincerely wish that the decision to sign this agreement had never been made , as the subsequent complications have far outweighed any perceived initial benefits. The continuous battle to seek a resolution is draining both resources and patients, Leaving us increasingly disheartened by the entire engagement.

I would not suggest anyone get involved with this company. I feel that the sales environment took advantage of my vulnerable state after the loss of my mother and husband. The information provided was unclear, and I was not fully aware of the long-term financial obligations, including maintenance fees, which I can no longer manage. My declining health prevents me from traveling, making the timeshare unusable. Despite my efforts, I've made no progress in getting anyone at this company to pay attention to what is going on. I urgently need assistance to exit this timeshare agreement, and no one will help. If you knew what I know, you would avoid doing any business with this company. BEWARE!
Holiday Lies…
Holiday Inn resorts have been nothing but unhelpful and useless in every attempt we’ve made to communicate with them. We’ve had this timeshare for some time now, and we’ve never felt the value of having it. Every time we called in, they’ve done nothing but spit in our face and say we owe them a bucket of money, or we’ll never get out. We’ve been paying their absurd maintenance fees regularly, and we’ve been paying on the mortgage. We don’t understand why they can’t just take the property back? Even THEY don’t want the timeshare, it seems.
I deeply regret ever attending that…
I deeply regret ever attending that membership presentation! The membership is absolutely NOT worth the cost, and to make matters worse, we can't even cancel it! Customer service is completely unresponsive to emails. We demand to close this membership/account and stop being billed for a service we cannot utilize! They make promises one how easy it is to use and to sell if you want out and that is the farthest from the truth.
I am so disappointed in this company
I am so disappointed in this company. They have trapped us into a contract and will not listen to why we need out. I regret ever signing their paperwork! I am beyond furious with this company! They have deceitfully trapped us into a contract and are completely ignoring our legitimate reasons for needing to terminate it. I vehemently regret ever signing their paperwork!
The cost just doesn’t make sense
The cost just doesn’t make sense. We’re stuck in a binding agreement, and they’re refusing to let us out of it. On top of that, the service they actually provide is nowhere near what they promised during the sales pitch. It’s frustrating and deeply disappointing to be let down like this, especially after trusting their word. We understand how disheartening this situation is—it’s not what anyone deserves.

Holiday Inn has misled us into a contract that is nothing like what was promised. Their Customer Service has been unhelpful. Avoid them at all costs!
My husband passed away
My husband passed away, and while the loan has been paid off, I am struggling to keep up with the yearly fees. Despite explaining my situation, they refuse to release me from this obligation. I feel trapped and overwhelmed by the whole situation. This is absolutely horrible and unfair.
Our experience with Holiday Inn Club…
Our experience with Holiday Inn Club has been nothing short of a disaster. From the very beginning, we were pressured during the sales process, held for over three hours, and shuffled between multiple managers. We were sold on the idea that this would be a great investment, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Booking has been an absolute nightmare, and the promises made during the sales pitch don’t match the reality we’ve faced. We even paid $99 to carry over points, only to lose them anyway. This entire experience has been filled with stress and disappointment, and we refuse to let this burden fall on our kids.
For years, we’ve been tossed back and forth, trying to find a resolution, but no one has helped us. Every time we try to make progress, we’re met with another “No.” We need real help to end this once and for all. Enough is enough. Please don’t trust this company for any of your vacation needs. This program does not work in your favor. It only benefits the timeshare.
They refuse to let me cancel my…
They refuse to let me cancel my membership and claim that my only options are to sell it or give it away. However, nobody wants it because of all the ridiculous fees attached! It feels like they’ve trapped me in something I can’t get out of, and I deeply regret ever trusting their presentation. They made it sound so appealing at the time, but now I see it was nothing but empty promises.
They won't let me out
They won't let me out. I've tried to explain, but what they presented is nothing like what I signed up for. The offer seemed fine, but once you're in, the truth hits: it's not what they promised. You only get days to realize you're trapped, and then it's too late. This feels like a deliberate setup. Stay away, or you'll deeply regret it.
SCAM AVOID
This is a scam and Holiday Inn is dishonest. Fraudulent charges on visa upon attending a seminar on their timeshare. they lie about the properties, and hide extra fees. Cancelling is next to impossible. I have been 3 hours calling to work out the fraudulent charges and every employee has been rude and talked over me. i have been given 5 different numbers, always the wrong department, put on hold and left there when no one answered, told they do not see the charges so they cannot refund them.......I am shocked with Holiday Inn. DO NOT go to their time share meetings, they are vultures.
Avoid at all cost
Basically a scam- they promise a bunch of stuff on the phone, never send any information, and then low and behold nothing is as the person that sold it to you said it was. This should be illegal.
We're paying too much for too little
We're paying too much for too little. Stuck in a contract we can't get out of, we're left feeling trapped and powerless. We were promised exceptional service, but what we got was a constant stream of disappointment. It's frustrating to be let down again and again.
The worst decision I have EVER made
The worst decision I have EVER made. My BIGGEST REGRET In my ENTIRE life.
They charge you for the points and they charge you to use them. HUGE RIPOFF !!!!!!!!!
Lies.
I can't believe I fell for their sales pitch. They tricked us, and now they won't let us out. All they care about is getting their money, not about all the lies they told us to get us to sign up in the first place.
I'm stuck
I'm stuck, and it's all because of Holiday Inn. They reeled me into a contract, promising a
getaway experience, but what I got was a leash. No matter how hard I pull, I can't break free. And for what? Resorts that don't even live up to the hype? Honestly, save yourself the heartache and steer clear. Learn from my mistake.
Horrible business practices. And unable to get in that is why we have not been there in the last 12 months
Dealing with Holiday inn has been nothing but a headache.
When we first got the timeshare they promised us that the maintenance fees won't go up, because we would be grandfathered in when we joined.
When we would try to get a stay, we could barely get in and then they would even charge us to stay there!
The maintenance fees keep going up and we can rarely get in!
One of the biggest problems we had was when we had a timeshare scheduled they told us we had to sit through the sales pitch. I got really upset and told them that we can't afford to upgrade again and that if I had to walk around and watch what I couldn't afford that I'd be upset. Then when we went to check out they charged us for the room even though it was supposed to be free. I understand I didn't sit through the hole spiel, but I literally told them that I could not stay for the last couple minutes because I couldn't afford it and they got upset and mad at us. They were so rude and inconsiderate.
We believe the terms of the contract…
We believe the terms of the contract were not fully transparent, and we feel it does not provide the value we anticipated. Unfortunately, efforts to address our concerns or explore options to exit the agreement have not been successful. In hindsight, we regret entering into this agreement.
