We try our best to support the local economy whether that is through direct employment, using local suppliers or even down to recommending local shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and activities to our guests. SEASTAY AND THE ENVIRONMENT Living on the coast and seeing the damage happening to the environment first hand is deeply saddening. We are committed to becoming better role models to our children. Having recently rolled out new hamper packs that are far better for the ecosystem, fully recyclable a n d using local suppliers where possible. Did you know as a business we go through some 5000+ toilet rolls a year? We have partnered up with "Who Gives A Crap" and supply triple length toilet rolls made from 100% renewable and sustainable bamboo that is also bio-degradable! Our cleaning chemicals are in the process of being changed and our office, personal home and some properties fully run off solar with battery storage. We have replaced our vans to the latest emission cutting engines and one is even electric charging from the sun!

Unfortunately we are shocked to receive this review and are not quite sure where this review has come from but we have not had a Mrs Mughal book a property with us. We have sadly had to close one of our properties due to leak under the floor and have blocked out the calendar for the time that it is needed to be closed. This is unfortunate but we did have to cancel a few bookings in September as we cannot have a property with no heating. We have however offered any affected bookings a discounted stay next time or alternative accommodation where possible.
When a booking is cancelled it will automatically go back onto the market at whatever rate is default, this is due to the processing time it takes to cancel a booking and then block out the calendar.
We here at Holiday Lets In Kent are a small family run business with a great reputation locally and I deeply saddened to receive a one star review about honesty. We have asked trust pilot to remove this review as it is simply not a true reflection on our business ethos or the way we run as a small family run local business.
We take every review seriously and it is disappointing to receive this one however if you look at the reviewer's profile it does seem that she doesn't not have a great amount of good to say about anyone she has reviewed.
If the person that has left this review wishes to contact us with their real name then I’m happy to have a discussion about this and resolve any genuine complaint.

Alistair and Gemma go above and beyond! They've been amazing partners for the last four years, coming to the rescue on many occasions. Everything from lost keys to blocked drains, they are there in an instant. They always put the guests first, ensuring they have a fantastic holiday and comfortable stay. The cleaning team are fast, reliable and leave the house spotless. We don't spend the summer in the area so we really couldn't do without them, it's great to have such a reliable and responsive team on hand.

Couldn't do without them
We have been clients of Holiday Lets in Kent since we bought our property in Broadstairs 3 years ago. As we live in London it's important to have a lettings company that we trust to keep everything in order as positive client feedback on Airbnb and Holiday Lets drives bookings. Al and Gemma are always on hand to resolve any last-minute problems such as lost keys and TV's not working (it's normally battery related!) - without them we just couldn't rent our property out. Al's easy and calming personality is always good when dealing with clients first hand and his extensive network of builders means that we can rely on him 100% to make sure our property is in tip-top condition at all times. We can't rate them highly enough.

After meeting Alistair from Holiday…
After meeting Alistair from Holiday Let's in Kent I was blown away with his enthusiasm and energy to achieve the best. We chose to go for the complete management package, and simply handed the keys over and left everything to him. He has redesigned our property, it now offers something unique.
We are achieving 5 star reviews now. He takes care of everything, including legal requirements, meet and greet and maintenance. The complete holiday package and making sure all guests have a wonderful experience. This means we get to enjoy our retirement knowing everything is in safe hands.

We loved our stay and will be returning
We stayed at Beach Lookout in Broadstairs in July 2020. A fantastic property with beautiful views over broadstairs beach. What could be better than waking up to the sound of the waves and a walk the beach before breakfast. The property is so close to the town so perfect to pop for a drink and dinner. The booking and handing of our stay was excellent and we felt very looked after. The complimentary Kent crisps and bottle of wine were a lovely touch. I highly recommend a stay!

Nothing is too much trouble...
Al and Gemma and their team have been looking after my flat in Broadstairs since they started their business. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, their work is impeccable and highly rated by me and my family. They look after our home as much as if it was theirs, which is very valuable to me.
