I have got an email that says action required but can’t seem to get any answers back as yet as to what information is needed .
The booking part and paying was easy though.

This is the WORST company and customer service I have ever received from a Travel company. My mother and I initially had no problems booking our Mekong River cruise with them. We decided to pay for an upgrade for business class seats and my 83 year old mother was charged TWICE for the upgrade. I let Nicholas (specialist consultant) and Ederlyn ( who accidentally made the double payment) know immediately. Both apologised for the ‘system error’ and I was told that the money would be deposited back into the account ‘urgently’. Meanwhile, due to my mother ‘s credit card being charged twice, her card had gone over the limit and her bank phoned her to say that she was overdrawn and that no payments ( her monthly bills) could not be paid until the account was back under the limit. She was also charged debit interest. The error was made on the 23rd January, and as of today ( 9th February) no refund has been deposited. I have received an email today ( not even the common curtesy of a phone call) to say that they have made the refund today and it may take a few days to hit the account. My poor mother is in such a state and is convinced she has been scammed and will never get her money back. She wants to report it to the police, and if this money does not finally show up in a day or two, I think we will have to. Such a stressful experience. To all future customers- BEWARE!!!!!

Always a problem free experience

The website included all the information you would require and nothing was hidden. You select your departure port, month and cabin type and that was the final price. Email communication with Holiday Max has been great, and look forward to going on this holiday in November 2027

Customer servive agent took 2 days to comfirm booking after ringing on the first day.
Wait time when ringing bookings was over twenty minutes each time at morni g and arftnoon.

We have only just booked this holiday and paid the deposit, so far, all conversations and online exchanges have been positive. Hope all the rest of the planning go's as well.
