A review of buying the policy
I like the way you want my medication then go into detail about my conditions. I feel reassured that everything is covered. I was very disappointed at being given incorrect information at the point of purchase, I was told if I phoned up by a certain date I could move the start time of the policy and could repeat this. I now have a holiday in 2027 which I will have to cut short because I couldn’t do this.

Their computer systems seem to be in disarray UPDATE (2)
Their computer systems seem to be going haywire at the moment. I spent a long time last evening completing the medical screening and getting some quotes. When I had chosen a policy and was about to pay, the quotes disappeared and I was prompted to start a new quote! I did get an email with the quotes but when I clicked on this I got an error message saying the quotes were irretrievable.
So this morning, I went again through the laborious medical screening to get a new quote, which actually came out £8 cheaper than yesterday's, but when I came to pay the quote disappeared again! However, another email arrived with a link to the quote. The link worked this time but the quote it brought me to was £66 cheaper than the real quote and the medical screening had disappeared. I phoned their customer service line and had a long wait before speaking to an agent who told me they had new computer systems bedding in and she would ask their technical team to sort it out and send me a link to the correct quote. The email with the quote has just arrived.....and it's just a repeat of the previous one without any medical screening!
High blood pressure wasn't one of my medical problems but it's likely to be if I have to deal much more with Holiday Safe!
UPDATE 17 April:
Following Holidaysafe’s answer below, on 2 April I emailed them the information they requested with a brief résumé of the problems I had experienced trying to buy travel insurance from them. My email engendered an immediate reply email from them which contained no text but had attached some empty policy forms. (See what I mean about their systems being in disarray!) I immediately sent back another email querying why they had sent me empty policy documents. Charlotte replied on 7 April saying “These look as though they are policy documents, have you recently brought (sic) travel insurance from us?” I emailed Charlotte back on 9 April, detailing all the problems I had endured trying to buy insurance from Holidaysafe. That was 8 days ago and, since then, I have heard nothing.
In other words, they really don’t seem to care about customer service and their replies here on Trustpilot, making it look as though they are taking customer complaints seriously, look to be just a sham. I do hope they can prove me wrong.
NEW UPDATE 14 May:
To give Holidaysafe their due, they did get back to me while I was actually on the holiday to say they would honour the original quote that disappeared and they refunded me the difference. Having been proved wrong, I will add an extra star to my rating.

Pleasantly surprised at the competitive rate. Holidaysafe took a very practical view of my existing health conditions, especially understanding how well they are controlled with medication. The process for obtaining a quote was easy to follow and the documentation is clear and accessible.
Failed to respond to message
On 11 March I sent you a message whilst we were in Malaysia because our return flights to the UK with Qatar Airways on 22 March looked like they might be cancelled.

Great reliable policies regardless of age or medical details
Have taken out annual policies in the past but now because of age and medical details haveto do indidual policies no matter how many trips in a year. Having said that the company have given us cover many times and we have only had one recent claim when our cruise ship could no dock in port and was surprised that each member 4 of our family had as £200 payment which was a pleasant surprise

Holiday Insurance As It Should Be,
I booked insurance for two people, to cover our holiday in April. I did this online and found the whole process so easy, the form for entering ailments was straightforward and uncomplicated and when it was completed, I was offered various levels of cover and selected and paid for the one most suitable to us. All the documentation was then emailed to me without further ado.
I would like to add that I have also, in the past, arranged the holiday insurance with Holidaysafe over the phone and found their operator both helpful and courteous.
We now only use Holidaysafe for our holiday insurance as they offer the best price and service.
