One experience was amazing in Almunecar Spain. It was just as advertised and the management team made everything flow smoothly from check in to checkout.

What a disappointment this mob cancelled my booking with a week to go. I was so looking forward to my Dubrovnik adventure. Now im left paying for flights and nowhere to stay. I would not ever recommend this business ever. Not a reason not a sorry.
I was booked for 17 July 2026. But it won't let me post as this is 12th July. Ive changed the date to warn others and as proof of it being before my booking.

Holidu, I need you to give me my money back.

Everyone, here is what happened:
I booked a holiday to Tenerife back in March on Expedia. On the listing, there was absolutely NO mention of Holidu's involvement in the booking. Therefore, when I received a $1,100+ charge from a holiday company based in Germany months later, I flagged it as credit card fraud. This was my mistake (but still shady that it wasn't mentioned and the charge went through them).

This is where it gets BAD. They email me telling me the payment didn't go through. I've never received an email from them. I call Expedia, I call the bank, I realize that it isn't credit card fraud, and tell my bank the release the money. I call Holidu to let them know what happened. I am on hold for 2 HOURS, just for the receptionist to tell me that everyone else has just gone home and they will need to email me with how to proceed.

They email me a few DAYS later and tell me to resend the payment within 3 hours or my holiday will be CANCELLED. I don't want to pay them twice, because I don't trust them with my money. I provide them proof from my bank that the money is on its way.

THEN. They ghost me! I ended up not going on my holiday at all since I don't want to get to Tenerife and have nowhere to stay. I emailed them at least 5 times over the past 1.5 weeks to no response. I cannot call them again because last time the international phone bill from being on hold from last time is $250.

The kicker? Even though they said they would cancel it if I didn't pay again, they never did. They did not tell the hosts that I wasn't coming (even though I eventually told them I understood their threats as them cancelling on me). At 9 PM on the day I was supposed to be getting in, this poor couple in Tenerife asked me where I was. I had to explain the whole thing to them myself :(

Holidu, this is unacceptable. Email me back. At this point, it seems like they are hoping to steal my money.

Travellers, please heed my warning!

Booked an apartment for a few days. When we asked how the check in works, they said the host would be at the accommodation. When we arrived there, nobody was there so after contacting a few times and being told we would be called back in a few minutes (they never called back), we got a message that the booking was cancelled while we were already at the accommodation. They left us there with no further information and we never heard from them again.

Good communication and information.
Checking we have all the information required including route.

First of all my administrator Mrs Stafylaki Iro is the best! She helps me organise my business and she is always very supportive! The platform also helps me organise my reservations!

Contact was easy and booking details were clear and simple to access. The AI chat bot was ok but it was difficult to speak to an actual person when we had questions we needed a human to deal with - fortunately our host was incredibly helpful.

Yes, most things were very easy, so we were pleased.
