STAY AWAY! I rarely write reviews but want to warn…
I rarely write reviews but want to warn people to avoid this company altogether. They are a scam. We ordered a set of two sconces about 6 months ago. After allowing for an atypically long time for them to ship from China (and provided with tracking numbers that don't work) the sconces arrived with one broken. There is no refund or return process available on their website (which should raise suspicion) only two email addresses listed as contacts, one of which is nolonger valid. After multiple unanswered emails to 'helen@homdiyhardware...' and unanswered inquiries about returns through their site chatbot, we gave up, ate the cost and purchased a third, single sconce to replace the damaged one. After another prolonged wait for delivery, the sconce that arrived didn't match the two original sconces (same product name and photo on website as our original order but every component - bracket, canopy, globe, and globe finish - different) and it had missing parts so it couldn't be installed even if we'd wanted to setle for two mismatched lights! I'm an architect - I order fixtures all the time from a wide range of vendors, and I've never encountered anything like this. The fixtures are packed so poorly, it's honestly as if people are just throwing random parts in boxes and adding a bit of syrofoam then hoping for the best. I mean, why would they care about accuracy or potential damage given that the customer has absolutley zero recourse. I've been defrauded of over $700 by this 'inexpensive' lighting company. They are beyond shady.

$165 Box of Parts with no instructions
I ordered a $165 ceiling light. It took 6 weeks to arrive. I did not realize I was ordering from a Chinese company until Paypal listed their name in Chinese. I received a box of parts with no instruction. They responded to my email with a PDF of instructions that I am afraid to open. When I requested a full refund, they offered me a $50 refund or instructed that I would have to mail it back to China and wait for resolution. Avoid Homdiyhardware.

No customer support for issues
I ordered an LED Ceiling light for my bedroom, which eventually arrived after about a month but I was happy with the design and it was easy to install. After a month of working perfectly the light started flickering and is now not working properley, I have tried to reach out to their support email address for assistance on 2 occasions and have been ignored. Very frustrating as the light cannot be used in its current state, I believe the issue is with the LED Driver as the light switch and connections are fine and have been tested.

Damaged Products
We ordered 9 designer lights from Homdiy and 3 out of 9 arrived with very obvious scratch. How can you send damaged items to clients? We paid a lot of money for these lights and wouldn’t expect it to arrive is such poor condition.

Good price, nice look
We bought this for an over the sink kitchen light. It suits the kitchen color scheme and is easy to install or adjust. A dial on the cord allows you to turn the light around to get the angle you want The way we have it turned, the brighter part of the light bulb shines outside. The grill is close to this window, so we get light but no bugs while cooking. A good buy, too. Obviously, we are happy with it.

Nice design, but small.
We wanted a single pendant light above our entrance, but felt this item was too small for that space. I would recommend this item in a pair or 3's to create a nice effect, or to be used in a smaller space as a single pendant. Nice design. It did look good.

These people are scammers, they have website with co.uk domain, making the buyer think company is based locally.
It took about 1 month to get the goods. I asked to cancel my order, but they did not allow me.
To return the goods are not financially viable as you need to ship them back to China and shipping costs are higher than the actual product price. You are basically forced to keep an unwanted item.
