Really big selection of prepped meals to choose from and easy to skip/order . I love that the meals are sectioned so veg is separate and everything doesn't merge into one splodge when heating!... See more

I placed an order with an expected delivery date of the 30th. I emailed a simple question about the order, and today I was told it had been cancelled, supposedly at my request. I never asked for the order to be cancelled. This is extremely poor customer service. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Update: Odd that considering I have only just moved to this address!!!

Shocking food, now they’ve got cheek to ask for funding! No thanks
I just had my first meal from their delivery. It was delicious. I enjoyed the flavour and quantity, I’m hoping all the meals bang as hard as the rendang does. I found the selection on the site good,
Only notes: the packaging said microwave for 7 minutes; the website says 5. Confusing.

Flavour ok but quantity and consistency not at all… once warm look like dog food, there is probably the quantity of 2 chicken wings of meat inside and with that sort of mash polenta not filling at all, it’s definitely too expensive 5.95£ a dish home cook you would be filled, I’ve purchased through Go Puff service. Customer Service it’s careful to clients need I’m pretty sure they will correct the quantity appropriately.

Honestly, WOW! we’ve tried three flavours so far and the only complaint I’ve got is why is there MORE haha! The portions are a fantastic size, the food is some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten! Both myself and my partner have always been a bit fussy with vegetables, but these are cooked incredibly that we even demolished all of them too! 10/10 cannot recommend enough

Having been a subscription customer for nearly two years I am happy to say that I have been more than happy with the meals and the service I have received when things go wrong has been exceptional.
The meals vary from almost home cooked (smaller chef businesses or street food type businesses) to somewhat processed food (larger kitchens and SME businesses). However I am happy that overall even as processed food it is better quality than cheap supermarket ready meals. I hope this will continue as the busy grows and develops.
The meals are reasonably priced for this type of convenience food and it can get cheaper if you subscribe or collect loyalty points. At its highest price it is comparable to more commercial producers like Charley Bigham.

I love HomeCooks as it helps me providing a healthy alternative for a mid-week meal for the family when I don’t have time to cook. We have several favourites now such as the Rendang or the Satay but I always like to try new dishes. The insulated packaging is quite robust and eco friendly too. If you’re looking for variety and healthy meals reasonably priced with no preservatives then HomeCooks should be your go to place plus you support small businesses and chefs

Great home delivery service. All the meals we have tried taste good and are great quality and size.
To add, the customer service is the best, very quick and kind, always helpful.

I have been buying the meat pies for quite a few years now and love them. The pastry is lovely and filling good. Just bought the quiche and definitely will buy more with my next order.

Absolutely love Homecooks. It is truly unique - in that it directly connects you with local chefs and therefore supports local businesses, rather than faceless chains with dubious employee support.
The dishes are meticulously chosen through a process called Taste Testing / which means you also get a super cheap dinner in response to leaving them feedback… and if it makes the cut, all the better.

Have tried quite a few companies like this, but HomeCooks is by far my favourite. I've been getting HomeCooks delivered over the last 9 months or so and the quality of the dishes are great and worth every penny.
It's really helpful to track calories and portions, which HomeCooks does really well. Have also found the customer service to be super helpful too. Would recommend!

I’ve had 2 home cook deliveries so far. The shopping experience was seamless. And the customer service is amazing- a real human being got back to me in seconds (which is so rare now with everyone using bots). The delivery company they use is really good too. Most of the dishes very super tasty and they had a great variety of vegetarian options. I find it easy to use on work from home days to chuck it in the oven or microwave. The only reason to give 4 not 5 is the menu is limited - it doesn’t change very often - not a problem if you don’t mind repeating a couple of your favourites and the portion sizes for some of them are tiny compared to the price. After trying them once I’ve now narrowed down my favourites and stocked them up in my fridge.

Homecooks is great. Saves me a lot of time and meals are tasty

Food quality: no complaints.
There's a good selection, dishes are well described and include nutritional information and heating instructions.
The website looks good and it's easy enough to filter by various categories but it is very clunky with pages taking way too long to reload.
You get to choose the delivery day, though the earliest I found was five days out; I don't know whether that depends on the details of the order. They use DHL to deliver so you get a one-hour window on the day of delivery which is fine.
Packaging is not excessive, which is good.
Overall, a good and convenient service.

I just had the Portebello Mushroom Rissotto - yum yum yum 😋
A nice size portion, great ingredients and a tasty dish in a few minutes - perfect for those busy days ❤️

I have been using Homecooks for a whole now. I find the food on the whole very good, I have had a couple of hiccups but the problems were resolved immediately. Only downside is I think the delivery charge is a bit high.

I love HomeCooks! I wanted a healthier alternative to some of the ready meals that I normally rely on. The food is tasty and I can check out the nutritional stats which is something I struggle with when cooking at home from scratch.
Most dishes have been amazing, there’s been the odd one I haven’t been so keen on but this could be personal taste I guess.
I’ve found customer support really good - as there have been a few website glitches but hopefully these are being ironed out as they continue to develop.
I also love their points/rewards scheme and that you can gift free meals to friends occasionally.
Hoping for more new and exciting dishes soon!

I've been subscribed to HomeCooks for the past few months and I found their service, quality of food and variety of choices great! The only possible downside I would say is it can get a bit pricey if there's no discount or vouchers applied but I guess it's the trade-off between readymade healthy food and price.

In respect of the jerk chicken meal - utter rubbish. In respect of the "healthy" cottage pie - like a child made a bolognese and vomited it straight up. An overly sweet half-can of chopped tomatoes with some bits floating around and some mush on top. I can't believe what they charge for this dross. Style over substance.
