Bought adidas c21 exersise bike at a really good price, I was a sent a link so i could pick a delivery date, was given a time slot and driver called 45 mins before delivery. Good service will use again.

RUBBISH SERVICE

I have ordered a garden swing for nearly £400, I have paid for it, told it would be delivered on Saturday 4th June between 1.45 and 3.45 - never arrived, today have had an email saying it was delivered at just after 7am IT WAS NOT, we were here and up, getting no communication from anyone. EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE will be looking to get my money back from ebay. WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEIR PROOF OF DELIVERY

I paid £30 up front so I could miss a couple of months while I was in hospital now bare in mind my monthly payment is only £6 so I paid 5 month in advance. They said I missed payment and the 30 I paid does not count as a payment for a few month its an extra payment and bill is due every 28 days.. They hounded me over £6 blocked my account so I can not buy anything else and had the cheek to charge me £12 for a miss payment when I am £30 in front.. I .going to pay the £90 I owe and get rid its a terrible and the fool I spoke to on the phone spoke down to me said the £30 reduces my ballance and not a payment

Perfect service

I ordered something that wasnt available, but they went over and beyond to help me find an alternative. Alarna was super helpful and I experienced the best customer service from her.

I was given £125 credit I ordered a carpet washer & paid £69.99 extra was cancelled by them the next day still fighting to get my money refunded to me customer service is appalling each one tells me something different can’t get put through to a manager as get told none available my next is to go to small claims court avoid this company they have caused me nothing but stress and looking through reviews lots of people have had the same problem

Absolute rubbish and very unprofessional. Gave me a credit limit of 175 pound I bought some stuff for 50 which turned out to be rubbish then I needed a hoover fast as mine had broke had 120 pound hoover cost 90 then they cancel my order without a word had to look at my account to find out they had cancelled will never use this sxxx show again.

They have been charging me $29.95 a month for something. Not sure what for, and don't have a clue how they got my credit card # . Went to there site and tried to sign in, guess what they say I don't have an account. Surprise! What are they charging me for. Reported Fraud

Avoid!

Took out an account with them and was given £600 on credit. Ordered a gaming monitor. Waiting for conformation, checked again to see item had been cancelled so called up to find out. The first operator pretended they couldn’t hear me and the second said the item was cancelled because there wasn’t any left in stock and they can’t keep up to date with orders and how many items are being ordered but then told me there was one monitor left in stock and can be delivered but I had to pay full cost upfront as I now had no credit on my account. So glad I didn’t have any payment details attached to my account. Definitely avoid. Wish I had read reviews beforehand.

False promises

This company is appaling . They gave my partner £150 credit limit. He then ordered a phone everything was OK about a week later decided to check to see what was happening with the order. It had been cancelled The credit limit had been revoked. Not even an email to explain why avoid like the plague.

I am taking a CCJ against this company…

I am taking a CCJ against this company for selling me a faulty item
I ordered a Nokia tablet, arrived 8th December 21. By the 5th of January i called to inform them it is malfunctioning giving full details. The agent advised it would be collected in the next 48 hours. That didn’t happen instead i received an email from Nokia advising i can pay for an online repair but no collection will happen. I have since called around eight times but their call goes to South Africa and are not regulated so they do and say whatever and however they want.
I am still stuck with a faulty tablet . I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LODGE THIS WITH MY LOCAL COUNTY COURT AND ARRANGE AN APPLICATION FOR A CCJ AGAINST THIS NASTY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!

Shockingly abysmal

Shockingly abysmal. Phoned for a return 11th Dec 21, guy said no probs pack it up and courier will collect. I explained item bought in May was busted, hose on spot cleaner totally came away after used 5 short times, design on how it is wrapped round machine then into holder, anyway ask for return number, he said no its fine you don't need it, put name on box, I questioned this, so on mn 13th Dec courier arrived and asked for 16 digit number, not got so phoned back up spoke to someone who mailed me qr. So I went to local shop for hermes printed out, sent, got tracking.
It was delivered Tues 14th at 23.54 pm to their jd Williams. 13 days later no word, fun starts and 5 calls. No record of return, repeat repeat. Eventually cr person agreed it had been returned. Explain what happened detail by detail, repeatedly with each call, inept Cs caused this to happen but will He take responsibility, NO. Had email saying they can't refund as no return. Yes numpties the return is there in your building somewhere. Sent me details how to send a parcel, it was sent yous got it REFUND ME. I have responded to mail with tracking, delivery status showing where it is. Etc etc. Take responsibly for you inept handing of this from Customer care

Missing parts & no instructions non existent customer services

Missing parts & no instructions. Terrible excuse for customer services
Just received delivery of an Allegra bed. When ordering I was told delivery would be quicker than it was. I’ve just taken delivery today and there are no instructions and missing items. I called home essentials and stayed on hold for 10 minutes. A customer service person at the end of the line finally answered and then pretended he couldn’t hear me and told me he was going to release the call and then hung up on me. I would have given this company the benefit of the doubt and not left this review if this representative wasn’t the first person that works for you that I had to come into contact with. I have sent a message via Facebook to get this sorted and I’m still waiting for a reply. I needed this bed up and in use by last Wednesday, when I was originally expecting delivery. Now I have no idea when all the parts will be delivered. Please can someone contact me to sort this out?

Over 24 hours since posting this I’ve heard nothing back. Called customer services 3 times, all your employees pretended there was a problem with the phone line, that they couldn’t hear me and hung up.

Funny thing is I rang the sales line pretending I wanted to make an order and low and behold the phone lines work when this company want to take your money. I’ve literally no where to turn, I’m at this companies mercy hoping they have the decency to reply to me. Disgusting

Got an email asking for what parts of my delivery were missing 2 days ago. I replied as soon as I received the email. Still haven’t got a reply back. Why would a reply take more than 2 days?

8 days after receiving my parcel with missing items, countless more emails (including emails to your ceo which have been ignored), messages and phone calls, most of which HE have not had the decency to respond to, and still this issue has not been resolved by home essentials. My son is now sleeping on a mattress on the floor since this bed had not been fully delivered.

Have used this company for nearly two…

Have used this company for nearly two years,never missed a payment,even my credit limit was increased to 1500,placed an order as i had £35 on my account,they accepted my order,then they cancelled it.Called them asked why my order was cancelled and was told i had an outstanding debt with JD Williams,I explained I never missed a payment with Home essentials,and why did it take them this long to notice that?,Rubbish customer service,I was on phone for 15 minutes to be told this,I could have typed what she was doing alot quicker,seemed like she was on go slow mode.I told them i will only pay them £10 a month instead of the £60 i was paying them.Disgraceful and disgusted at what they have done to me.Will never ever use them again.

I recently bought a product from them

I recently bought a product from them. It was advertised a bit cheaper than other companies with free shipping. They charged my credit card and gave me a confirmation number. A few hours later they canceled my order. A couple of weeks later I decided to call them and find out why they canceled my order, they said they had the product in now and I’d have to pay the new price which was five times the advertised price. It took them several days from when I purchased the product to change the price on their website. They told me to call customer support, which I did. I emailed them and have not heard anything back within a week. I do not think they will honor their advertised price nor will they work with their customers, they don’t have a good customer service reputation as far as my experience goes.
