Tried to get in touch with honestvillas regarding a villa booked and a payment made, they’ve taken the money and not responded. In the end, despite multiple attempts they’ve disappeared. Real honest way to make money. Evidence available at request @honestvillas, so please get in touch if you want to make a refund, you’re great at replying on trustpilot.

Update: honestvillas (as expected) replied with their standard response on trustpilot again, but still not to emails or calls, no apology. It’s no wonder they reply to >90% of negative reviews but not to customers to apologise for any mistakes or poor service, they just take the money and run. Glad to hear the update? Authorities are investigating Jose, nobody can trust a “company” once scammed. Return the money Jose.
Honestvillas continue to ask for proof on a platform that clearly does not allow this feature, those who know me can see all on social media and relevant authorities have all the required proof.
Any self respected company would send an apology for any misunderstanding… any fake company would aggressively defend their lies, reputation is clear in the public domain.
If you speak to tenerifevillasonline directly they will confirm the scam - there’s the proof. Honestvillas stole the pictures and fake listed the villa we booked. Never book this type of transaction by bank transfer. Credit card only please, avoid getting scammed.

This company takes your money and then threatens you to court when you are honest about the service they do not provide. My partner was scammed and the banks already know of this company and its illegitimate ways. They have to be held accountable for the fake villas they advertise. This is the exact meaning of fraud. Unless they can show evidence of where they have followed procedures, dont hild your hands up, just like they dont want to hold their hands up.

Do not book – misleading listing and no support

We had a serious issue with a booking made through Honest Villas.

A villa was booked for a stag trip from 29–31 January, with payment sent by bank transfer for the accommodation plus extras such as transfers and a chef. Once the payment was completed, communication stopped completely.

On arrival in Tenerife, there was no airport pickup as promised. After waiting and trying to make contact with no success, we travelled to the villa ourselves. When we arrived, the property was locked with no access, and again there was no response from either the host or Honest Villas. The Honest Villas phone number simply cuts off when called.

What raised major concern was that the villa had a different name displayed than the one advertised on the Honest Villas website. We later found the same property listed elsewhere under its correct name, suggesting Honest Villas were advertising a villa they did not manage or control.

Despite multiple attempts to contact them (including using the “contact host” option which claims fast replies), we received no response for days.

We were left without accommodation and no assistance. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Honest Villas.

Paid in full for villa orsina in lanzarore in december2025..Property manager Jose MiguelAdrover Amengual (extra tours management) advised that they would contact me regardung check in detail 10days prior to arrival. Tried to cintact honest villas and property via email and phone 10days prior to no avail. 5 days to departure and I am trying to find another property.
Update: I have the receipt and confirmation letter from honest villas 'Honest' villaa have time to refund or rectify this matter, before we are due to land in Lanzorate bext week..If a scammer is infiltrating their site, it is up to company to notify holiday makers and put protective measures in place.

This company is a complete scam. Please avoid them. They took payment of more than £3k and completely ghosted us on the day of arrival. No pickup from the airport, which was paid for, and no villa.
Continuous calls but no reply either to calls or emails.

To reiterate - There was NO VILLA.

I implore whoever is reading this to not only not book from these scammers, but to also file formal complaints against them, so other innocent people won't fall for there very convincing scam.

I have just seen my review has had a response from Honest Villas disputing what I say.

So just to clarify, I have all the proof required to show this is a scam. If anyone to see photographic evidence of their scam, please message me directly.

We as a community must put an end of to these scams.
Update 2:
Honest Villas have responded for a second time trying to accuse me of not being a real client. As you can clearly see, this person running this scam is panicking as all of these negative reviews are flooding in from our group. If I were him, I would also be upset if a money stream was being interrupted. I have nothing to gain from writing a negative review. The only thing I gain from this hopefully this person suffers the full extent of the law and imprisoned for his crimes to my group of friends and whoever else has lost their money. We have been in touch with our banks trying to get our money returned but unlikely as we made the foolish error in sending the money to a personal account and not a reputable account.
If Honest Villas reply again, I will simply write another bad review until justice prevails.

SCAM – Please Avoid

My friend booked this listing for a stag weekend from 29th January to 1st February (3 nights). Payment was made via bank transfer, and once the money was sent, all contact from the property owner stopped.

We had paid for the villa, airport transfers, and chefs. When we landed, no transfer arrived. We waited for 45 minutes before making our own way to the villa.

When we arrived, the villa was locked with no way to gain access. We were left stranded with no accommodation and no response from either the property owner or Honest Villas. Attempts to call Honest Villas were unsuccessful—the phone line hangs up automatically.

What made the situation worse was discovering that the villa had a different name from the one advertised on the Honest Villas website. This is when we realised we had been misled.

Honest Villas still have not responded to my friend. I also attempted to contact the host through the website (which claims “usually responds within 1 hour”), but it has now been 4 days with no reply.

Please be extremely careful—this experience left us without accommodation and out of pocket.

Update: as soon as this review was posted on trustpilot, honest villas flagged the review and removed the link from their website. Funny how the respond to trust pilot quicker than their customers.

Honest villas - instead of replying with generic incorrect responses, maybe actually look into this case properly. You took the listing down after my review to cover the evidence but we still have the screenshots! If a company like this is responding like this online for the world to see you can only imagine how they operate behind the scenes.

I am a senior citizen booking holidays for close on 50 years. I have never posted to any review site in my life, and I don’t exist on social media. Yet something has compelled to register with this site and outline my experiences with Honest Villas.

I am visiting Fuerteventura shortly for the first time. I found a dream villa on the website of Honest Villas.

When I contacted them via their website to determine if my preferred dates were available, I was contacted promptly to advise my dates were available. Also, they advised, that if you would like to benefit from a 15% discount I could pay in full when booking - which in all my years has never happened before .

I had a couple of concerns which I enquired about. The location on the map on the website did not equate to the area the villa was listed for. Also, I asked if I could pay by bank transfer.

They are very kindly and promptly emailed me back to advise the map location was wrong and advised the correct location and address. They advised I could only pay by bank transfer. This did concern me a bit as again I have never not been able to do this with any holiday booking.

So, I did a little research. I found the exact same villa under a different name on another website.  My preferred dates were not available on this website. I contacted them and they advised they were booked to their client. 

So unfortunately, I had no other option, based on all the above but to cease proceedings with Honest Villas. 

I did email them to advise of my decision. They have my name, contact details and booking reference they gave me. In my email I stated: 

“You have a total responsibility to your clients, your business and your reputation that before you accept signed contracts form clients that the villa is available for the period requested, with the owners and whomever you are co-listing with. You should NOT EVER, in my opinion, request a client to sign a contract until you have 100% checked availability.

They did reply to advise "I have explained that the agency that booked the dates you were interested in, DID NOT NOTIFY US that they have them booked".

I  fully accept this but when you list a property, in my humble opinion, and this is the basis for this review - you should check with the owner and those who are co-listing if the property is booked for which you are about to issue a contract and request monies for. To me at least, this is a simple and necessary task! 

I have had numerous holidays in the past where properties were co-listed by 2 or more agencies ( it is common enough practice) and I have never had the issue I had with Honest Villas.

Don’t book we are in Costa teguise arrived last night no Villa , phone number not working nobody to meet us absolute disgusted . Arrived 6pm had to go looking for accommodation . Paid in full along with a 500 euro damage deposit

An excellent experience with Honest Villas for our villa booking in Lanzarote. The team was professional, responsive, and very clear throughout the process.
They made everything feel easy and stress-free.
The villa was exactly as described, and it was reassuring to deal with people who clearly know the properties they offer. Everything was well organised and transparent from start to finish.

I was very nearly ready to send the money but something inside said do a little research.

I decided to trace the property and found it to be an exclusive property only bookable through them.

It has a different name and the pictures have just been taken from their website and socials.

The property is not available on our dates, they are not authorised agents and the price is triple what they are quoting.

They only accept wire transfer and offer a generous discount for paying in full.

I nearly got scammed, don't let it be you.

I asked to pay by credit card so I could benefit from better protection than paying by wire transfer. The email response I received back was very rude and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, due to some health issues, we have had to cancel just before Christmas. Fortunately, Jose and Honest Villas were true to their cancellation policy and refunded us in full. Booked a villa for a hen do party and the communication with the company was great, the booking process was smooth and fast. Had a few requests while at the villa and they were all handled by the local staff very promptly. Will be a returning customer! Top notch!

Having recently returned from a week at Villa Casimiro in Maspalomas, i can just say, wow, this place is even better in real life than in the photos. The villa is huge. Photos just don’t do justice to how spacious, beautiful and comfortable this villa really is. I’m so glad I found a company that treats guests the way every company should — professional, reliable, and truly guest-focused. Special thanks to our local agent, Martino, who took care of all our needs during the stay. His help and attention made the holiday seamless and stress-free.

My experience:
The information I received about a villa’s availability from Honest Villas was inconsistent compared to what I found on another platform.

When I tried to get clarity, their communication broke down completely: replies stopped, and my emails started bouncing with server errors.

The overall experience felt unreliable and caused me to lose trust in the booking process, so I decided to stop the interaction.

We booked Villa Gloria in Gran Canaria through this agency and were really impressed with the level of support they offered. Our flight arrived early in the morning, long before the usual check-in time, and they were extremely helpful in arranging an early drop-off for our luggage. This made a big difference for us, as we were able to start enjoying the area without dragging bags around.

Communication with them was consistently clear and friendly. All the details for our stay were well organised, and everything at the villa matched the information they had provided. They also assisted us with arranging a special dinner during our stay, which turned out excellent.

The location close to Las Burras Beach was perfect for what we needed, and knowing the agency was always available if we needed anything gave us real peace of mind.

Overall, a very professional and reliable service — we would definitely book with them again. David
