Unauthorized charges and shady auto-renewal practices

I am extremely disappointed with Hostinger. They enabled auto-renewal on my domain without my explicit consent, resulting in an unauthorized charge.Charging users without a clear opt-in is unethical and feels like a shady way to abuse customers. When businesses rely on "hidden" settings to force renewals, it shows a complete lack of transparency and respect for consumer rights.I am currently fighting to get a refund for a service I did not want to renew. Be very careful with your billing settings if you use this provider

Exceptional Technical Support from Arie - He solved a complex WAF issue!

I was dealing with a very complex server-side issue where the firewall (WAF/ModSecurity) was blocking OpenAI bots from crawling my custom-coded website. I was getting a bit frustrated until Arie stepped in.

Arie provided exceptional, top-tier technical support. He immediately understood the core of the problem, reviewed the specific IP ranges I provided, and successfully whitelisted them at the server level. It’s rare to find customer support agents who truly understand advanced firewall and bot routing issues, but Arie handled it like a true pro. He resolved everything perfectly and completely saved my day (especially since today is my birthday!).

Huge thanks to Arie—Hostinger is incredibly lucky to have such a skilled technical expert on their team. Highly recommended!

Hostinger holds two websites for me

Hostinger holds two websites for me - both niche hobby sites. The ease with which a novice can update and maintain sites is a massive benefit. Costs are very reasonable and there are no hidden charges. I have used them for a few years now and it beats my previous experience with other hosting sites. This is an easy solution with great service.

I highly recommend Hostinger for any website builder you're using. Quick responses and precise direction, everything for what you need and more. Actually I haven't even explored all they've got going on but I will be. Can't go wrong with this website Host.

“I’ve been using Hostinger for one year…

“I’ve been using Hostinger for one year and overall my experience has been positive The setup process was straightforward, and the dashboard is quite user-friendly, which made managing my site easy even without much technical experience. Website speed has been good although I did notice
Customer support was responsive especially when I contacted them about it One thing I appreciated was specific , but I think there’s room for improvement
In terms of pricing, the initial plans are affordable, but renewal rates could be more transparent. Overall, I would recommend Hostinger to others, especially those who are trying to use but improvements in it would make the experience even better.”

DONT TRY IT.

DONT TRY IT.. too much ip filtering thats why your website will be down almost 18 hours a day and live four only 4 hours. they might be having shortage on ram lol.. THIS IS TRASH HOST.. THEY ARE NOT GOOD IN HANDLING PROBLEMS.. BETTER TO STAY AWAY TO THIS HOSTINGERS

Lost trust after sudden suspension

I honestly had a really frustrating experience with Hostinger.

My domain got suspended out of nowhere based on some abuse report, and it felt like the decision was already made before even considering my side properly. I shared explanations and proof, but it didn’t seem to make any difference. The whole process lacked transparency, and that’s what bothered me the most.

This actually impacted my business, which is not something you expect when you’re using a hosting provider.

To be fair, their support team replies quickly—but fast replies don’t help much if the outcome doesn’t change or feels one-sided.

In my 10+ years of working with different hosting providers, I’ve never faced something like this. I also later came across similar experiences shared by others, which made me feel this isn’t just a one-off case.

At this point, I’ve lost trust and will be moving my remaining domains once the lock period is over.
