The BEST support and service in the UK (seriously)
The BEST support and service in the UK! Super satisfied with the folks at HostPresto. A friend recommended them in a post on LinkedIn, and we signed up for a dedicated server. The price is fair, their service is great, and most importantly, their support team answered all our questions. Their technicians did a great job accommodating our needs and configured our server twice, free of set up fees that other companies may charge.

Usual speed with quick and easy response. I had accidentally failed to cancel subscription - so, HostPresto, advised to cancel subscription and they would refund.
Was advised had been refunded and showed in PayPal account, although PayPal dawdled with refund taking 5 days - but all resolved. I always find HostPresto quick to act upon customers tickets. Have used them for some 20 odd years both in my work domains, my own domains and that of clients.
It's Sunday morning about 5:30
It's Sunday morning about 5:30 and I'm up and working because the hours are quiet and I can think clearly at that time. So I try to log on to my email but the little wheel just goes round and round and then - poof! It times out. Try another machine. Still nothing. I get on to Host Presto and leave a ticket. Not really expecting anything given the day and time. But they fix it within an hour! I'm impressed. Impressed and grateful. You know a company is solid when they can handle something like that.

I very rarely need to ask for help as…
I very rarely need to ask for help as my sites on HostPresto work reliably. However, on this occasion I could not get the FTP login to work. It took 3 emails to get it working properly. It took about 3 hours in total to solve my problem. The help was excellent and correctly diagnosed. I have had the same very good experience on all of the other times I had contact them for help over the last 4 years.

HostPresto are very quick to respond to a query/issue and ALWAYS resolve it in record time. I've been with these guys for years (and before, when they were 4UHosting) and have never had a problem they can't resolve, especially as I'm a freelancer who needs critical email issues resolved immediately. Would 100% recommend these guys!
Support is Fantastic
Too unreliable
The customer service is actually decent, although the response times wildly differ from day to day. The problem is the reliability. We're paying over £60 a month for a managed server and for the third time in as many weeks our site, which is an online booking platform, has been completely down for several hours. Still waiting on a reply from their support team and meanwhile we're losing money all the time. We've also had multiple issues with our SSL cert constantly not showing on the site despite having being told it was fixed. We have now decided to move our hosting elsewhere.

I've been with HostPresto since 2014 and never had any service issues until a recent domain transfer (typical stuff, all my fault).
I've raised several tickets over the past few days, and the support team has been quick to respond and provide help on every occasion.
I had an urgent email issue today (again, my fault) but needed it resolved asap. Rob reached out for this ticket within the hour, offering a solution that resolved the issue right away.
He also responded quickly to my follow-up and kindly checked that everything looked good on his end, as it would take a couple of hours for normal service to resume (I couldn't afford for it to not work and then have to try again).
I can't praise the quality of support enough over the past few days. Thanks Rob, and everyone else

I wasn't sure how to phrase my question on a mis-directed domain and initially got an AI response. I tried something else and got an error message. It wasn't urgent so I left it and went for a walk thinking I'd get back to it later. A few minutes into the walk I got an email form HostPresto saying it had been resolved. AND IT WAS! Yippee 😊
Great technical support - always
We have hosted with Hostpresto for a good number of years - 3 simple websites which we manage ourselves. From time to time we mess things up and the technical team always do their best to help us out and answer questions pretty quickly. We are not coders and its appreciated that we are not treated as idiots for our lack of knowledge :)
