It was just a blatant upsell, rather than an easy registering of applicance. Having commissioned based staff dealing with it, is not a good experience.. couldn’t say no thank you enough times.

Awful experience

Awful experience ! They Change my day of repair then didn’t turn up , then unhelpful on the phone and idiotic and after that I tried to cancel my appointment numerous times and then they still came out , I told them I had cancelled it then went away then got il saying theyhadcompleted repair , total bunch of incompetent idiots and there online service total disgrace hope I never have to deal with them ever again ! I will not buy anything hotpoint again so I never have to deal with them !!!!!

Agent seemed quite rude and dismissive…

Agent seemed quite rude and dismissive when zip told him I didn't want to pay for additional cover. Took time having to listen to that when there should be an option just to complete registration without the sales hassle.

Took an age to get through to a human…

Took an age to get through to a human to speak to. When I did, I was asked the same information several times over. The advisor wasn't listening and was boardering on couldn't be bothered. Resolved issue after much tooing and froing. Cetainly not good enough!

It took quite some time to register as…

It took quite some time to register as I was ask a lot question, if I knew that I would have to use hotpoint service engineer if anything went wrong I got the impression that I was being pressurised to take out insurance to cover my appliance I said a number of times I didn’t want to do that.

Dishwasher Repair

Left area clean and completed the repair fully. The engineer confirmed that the main control panel was broken and was replaced. Only query was he put on the repair paperwork door latch was also changed, but we were not aware this was completed during visit.
He was very friendly and provided great customer service.
